Curving her hand around her mouth, she leaned in and whispered, “He’s in a bad mood. Be careful.”
Calvin laughed. “Thanks. I will.” He was about to leave when he stopped himself. “You said your sister doesn’t write, right?”
“Right.”
“See you around,” he told her.
“You too.” But she didn’t move. He cocked his head, and she said, “You look familiar.”
“We met the last time, remember?”
“Yeah, I remember,” Cara said, nodding. He waited for her to say more, maybe laugh and tell him she was lying about her sister not being a writer. “But I feel like I’ve seen you somewhere else. Are you also in the movie industry? Do you act?”
