She nodded and asked him about his mission. She really wasn't expecting for Yman to acquire such a quest. After all, rats were a very hated pest. They were gross and scary. Yeah, they have fluffy fur, but they were not cute to pet. Well, depending on rats though. Since there were rats also that looks cute like a highbred hamster. Highbred hamsters intentionally bred for petting purposes. But the thing was, Yman took the quest about the Evil Rats! Those Evil Rats were hideous looking with the body as big as normal pigs. And their mouths were dripping with greenish saliva that contains poison. And those pointed teeth outside its mouth, well, scary and gross when it bites you.

The one in the center was yelling the verses in an unknown language. Despite the terrifying scene, that could leave anyone lax, the big-brown rats were running and jumping around with no care in the world. They were busy measuring one corner to another and at times, were stealing the preserved meal in the forgotten containers. Their holes, although, were dug outside the cave, yet they found the forbidden zone interesting to explore. The only thing that was stopping them from bringing down the shelves was an electric sensation passing through the rusted metal. Whenever any rat touched the rack, it dies on the next instant due to shock. It was obvious that some kind of magic was cast to repel

A tall and a short with wears cloak that covers their faces, and one wears a plague mask. "Doctor, the rats have grown larger since you feed them upon the mountainous corpse at the mountains." the shorter one in a cloak says. "But of course, every one of us has a role to play. Even in death, the Chief and his Hand will serve nutrients for my pets." the Doctor says as he places a rat the size of a cat on the table. The rat heard the Doctor whistling and followed her commands. She then commands the rat to attack the two other members at the table.

My eyes darted to the corner of the room where two rats emerged, their beady eyes fixed on my meal. “No,” I whispered, swiping at them with my hand. They squeaked and scurried back but didn’t go far. I shoved the bread into my mouth, chewing quickly as if they might try to take it from me. The meat was tougher than leather, but I forced it down, washing it down with the lukewarm water. The rats crept closer, emboldened by my focus on eating. I kicked at them, and they retreated again, only to return moments later.

The others went back to their workstations. They decided to finish their part of the tasks and do some experiments to keep their mind off of the humanoid and to help them focus their attention on what they need to do at the moment. The research lab was filled again with the rustling of papers and tinkling of glasses. Sometimes you'll even be able to hear small explosions due to the wrong diagnosis of their experiments. This keeps the six of them busy until the end of their shift.

Mr. Ronald has not grown much in these 5 years. He has just grown a small beard,which is stylish and sort of suits him. He is again sitting in his lab with a crate full of new rats as the old ones have been wasted. A couple of notebooks are there . He is experimenting something and writing it in his notebook from time to time . The sun is setting low and a few birds are there to be seen. The sky is orange with a tinge of blue in it. It looks beautiful but Mr. Ronald is quite busy to look at such 'nonsense' (for him it is).

Selena told the girls to keep the rat, book, and everything else used in the experiments. She approached and unlocked the door.

Keyinde: What's the bond between them that makes them do that? He thought and scratched his head for a while. Taiwo: Hmmmmmm!!! I really don't know but let's keep watching them till they're done. Keyinde: It's an interesting sight watching them compulate with themselves. About thirty minutes later, the rats were done and were leaving when Taiwo called and asked them the same question his sister asked him, of which they got an answer, then he dismissed them. Taiwo: Heard what the rats said? They love themselves that's why they could have sex with themselves to make their babies.
