Luna At Alpha Academy

Luna At Alpha Academy

The pain subsides immediately. I sigh. It was indeed foolish to choose explosive strength over regeneration. I didn’t think it would be this bad though. “Are you done?” The rat asks. It has been watching me from the other table. The fluorescent lights overhead give out for a moment. When it returns, the rat is right in front of me on my table without a noise. “I can help you, you know?” She coos, looking me over with pity in its eyes. “Just like old times.”

The rogue heir’s redemption

The rogue heir’s redemption

I've tried all sorts of creams and herbs, but it just isn't working. After mixing the whole thing, I watch the whole thing come to a perfect blend. I grab my two test rats from their cages. "I'm so sorry, guys, but I really need your help," I smile apologetically. Hesitated before placing the poisoned cheese in the cage. What if they actually die before I could give them the cure but I brush the though away and get it to them anyway I watch as they rushed to take bites of it. It took less than three seconds for them to collapse.

Aetherion Academia #1: Shadows of Rebirth

Aetherion Academia #1: Shadows of Rebirth

"The Academy doesn't reward 'unexpected interactions.' We reward mastery. If this draft is functional, you pass. If not, you're in detention until the Masquerade." He dipped the pipette into the purple swirling void, drawing out a single, glowing drop. "The test subject," Thorne barked, gesturing to the cage of lab rats at the end of the bench. He selected a standard, white-furred rodent - Subject 42 - and deposited the drop onto its tongue. The reaction was instantaneous.

the other doctor reasoned. Doctor Gibson was on the verge of panic. He didn't want his lab rat to end up as a corpse. Victor's genes were perfect. His parents had already tested the drug, and he was the level-one example that had reached level seven. But at level ten—the highest level—was the natural killing machine, which was his sister. His offspring was also at the highest level. There was a chance that the child could have ADHD or other genetic abnormalities, but they could still function as a killing machine.

The Dark Alpha's Pet

The Dark Alpha's Pet

“True, but like chickenpox, we would give a watered-down version to werewolves at strategic points in their lives. 1 year, 5 years, 13 years, when they shift at 18, and so on. The body will naturally build up a tolerance.” “Have you tested this theory on anyone yet?” Hunter asks. “My alpha wouldn’t let me test it on any warriors, but my lab partner and I did perform a couple of experiments on some lab rats on a smaller scale.” I say shyly. “And how did that go?” Hunter asks. I sigh. “Due to the molecular structure of the rats being different than werewolves, it didn’t affect them like it should have. Rats aren’t wolves. So, we had some anomalies in our numbers.”

Lina
This book should be made into a full on series, a regular book - it’s SO good! I obvs have some editorial comments, but overall it’s a solid world building, great original characters (though all could use a bit more mix of good/bad qualities for a more natural feel). The plot is so good! Recommend!

My ThesShit

My ThesShit

The animals are anesthetized one by one after the surgery is complete and the organs have been removed. Jayden hurriedly dissected the animal by first skinning it, then cutting the part below the neck and cutting it so that the contents of the internal organs of the research animal were immediately visible. Rats are widely used as research animals because the rat's body organs are similar to humans. Jayden had no trouble at all to find two kidneys and a liver.

And had the highest rate of death and was totally unsafe. Compared to Lab Rat which spawn every day, Potential Lab Rat had lower numbers in comparison. In human history, there’s only 50 permanent Potential Lab Rat and four candidates of Potential Lab Rat. The irony about it was, after countless deaths, a lot of hassle, the owner of the institution of the human experiment was waking up with the news of the first successful Potential Lab Rat. “A successful Potential Lab Rat… you mean…” His eyes trembled, realizing who Amino was referring to.

Ruling the Mafia World

Ruling the Mafia World

Just like you mentioned yourself, we use rats and do not really bother if they live or die in the process, that is because aside from the fact that they can reproduce rapidly, their small size, ease of maintenance, short life cycle, and abundant genetic resources. But most of all is because it is due to their anatomical, physiological, and genetic similarity to humans. And aside from being the a major source of food for many predators and scavengers, including hawks, fox, bobcats, and even wolves are not even useful in the ecosystem so they become useful to the medical studies, but may I remind you that this case with Marco is different-”

You're a Werewolf

You're a Werewolf

Zyris enthusiastically replies, grinning ear-to-ear. The cafe owner chuckles in amusement. "That's good to hear. I'm quite worried about their safety though. I've heard rumors that owls are also around the area and are quite vicious. They won't attack the scientist, will they?" "Don't worry. Their presence is quite rare around the lab. The rats either die because they can't handle it, or they run away from the lab and are caught by other crows." 'What? Rats? Crows? Owls?' Xavier frowns, not understanding a single word they're saying. It could be related to the research they are working on. Are they researching the interaction between rats and crows? That's just cruel.

The Beta and I

the guy who was used as the lab rat said. I was a bit confused because I did not know if what I was doing was wrong, but from the information that I have and from the research that I have done, it was proven that these creatures were so wild and could do anything crazy at any point in time, which makes me support the fact that they should not live among humans. Another thing about it was that they had extra powers which we did not have, and that would allow them to be able to intimidate us at any time, and I am not ready to be one of their victims, so I support the notion that they should be wiped out of the human race.

Frequently Asked Questions

Man, 'Lab Rats' was such a fun show to binge back in the day! Skylar, played by Hal Sparks, is one of those characters who totally keeps you guessing. At first, she seems like your average, smart, tech-savvy girl working with the bionic siblings, but nope—she’s got her own bag of tricks. Her powers aren’t flashy like super strength or speed, but they’re super cool in their own way. She’s got this advanced intellect and hacking skills that make her a behind-the-scenes powerhouse. It’s like she’s the brains of the operation, always figuring out how to outsmart the bad guys or fix some high-tech crisis.

What I love about Skylar is how her abilities feel grounded but still fantastical. She doesn’t need to punch through walls to be impactful; her mind is her weapon. Later in the series, she even gets a bionic upgrade, which amps up her skills even more. It’s a neat twist because it shows how 'power' doesn’t always mean physical—sometimes it’s about being the glue that holds the team together. Plus, her dynamic with the bionic trio adds so much humor and heart to the show. Skylar’s the kind of character who proves you don’t need to be the strongest to be indispensable.
