The Moon Calls
I asked, turning to the other woman, who pulled down her hood.
She was glowing a soft white, and her skin was the color of the moon, her eyes pitch black. She wore a thick silver crown that bore the different cycles of the moon. The full moon at the front of her head, “It’s been some time since I have seen you, child.” The woman’s voice was echoed, a mix between a man’s and a woman’s voice. “You’ve grown so much… I can’t wait to see you lead our people into the era of the light and out of the era of darkness.”
“What do you mean? I’m dead?”
