He closed his eyes as a small sigh left his lips.

“What? Charming and handsome?”
“No. Stupid and he thinks he’s very, very, very funny. In court, I had to defend him. He was into drugs. He thought that because I was a lawyer, it would be easy for him to get free from the law. But that’s not how the law works. It can persecute the highest person to the lowest. The law is like a knife. It doesn’t care who you are. Child, teenager, adult, old, young, woman, man, in between. It doesn’t care about that. Even if you’re a foreigner, an alien to the soil, you are still under the law as long as you are in that land.
