It was like he was looking at a stranger. Daniel felt even more panicked. He lowered his voice, tried to smile, and opened his arms toward Noah. "Noah, come here. Didn’t you always want me to hold you? From now on, you can call me Dad openly. Anytime you want me to hold you, I’ll do it." After hearing what he said, Noah still just looked at him. Even the smile on Daniel’s face started to stiffen. "Uncle Daniel, you’ve got the wrong person. I’m not your son. Your son should be that boy named Max," Noah spoke indifferently.

He moved closer, though I wasn't afraid. 'What does he want now?' I muttered inwardly, knowing fully well that my job was not to help a stranger. If Clara ever finds out, then I would be doomed. He stood in front of me, his blue eyes fixed on mine. He leaned slowly and I knew he wanted to kiss me, but I didn't move.

"Only Jack Weston has a caretaker. To any other persona you are an assistant, alright?" I gave a brief nod as I walked to the stranger at the door. I gave a small curtsey and extended my hand. "A pleasure, Sir,” I said, smiling. “I'm Anna Walton and I'll be your new assistant." He took my hand and squeezed it gently. "I'm Arthur Weston, and the pleasure is truly mine. Thomas!" He said looking past me. "Where did you find such a lovely girl? She's perfect! I need to set up my equipment immediately."

Crystal asked frantically, she had a strong feeling that what she was thinking was right, but she just couldn't bear to hear it yet. “Yes,” Blade spoke up without hesitation. “It is the same night when they burned down our house while both of my parents were resting in their bedroom. When I regained consciousness, I saw a woman wearing a white broad beach hat, a white dress, white pearls, and mittens. She ordered one of her people to kill me.” “Wait, that style... I added the last sentence when I noticed how the woman standing in front of me kept staring at me like I had grown two horns. “You can go back to your table Alice, she’s coming with me!” He ordered the chubby and rude woman who bowed quickly and walked away from us but she did it backwards before finally facing her front. She turned around to stare right into my eyes and I saw the disgust and anger there, her look was so creepy and intense, that it had my skin crawling. “What’s with Sean’s workers and their obsessions with him?” I asked Brian who was already leading me to another wing of the enormous and high ceiling building.

"How dare you answer back? Let's show everyone what a thief's daughter looks like!" "Get your hands off her!" I roared and charged straight into the crowd. I kicked the punk square in the stomach, and he let out a pained scream. The blow sent him flying six feet backward before crashing hard to the ground. The others immediately staggered back in fear. I pulled Lindsey into my arms and held her tightly. "Touch her again, and I swear I'll kill you," I said, staring at them with bloodshot eyes. They looked intimidated under my glare, but still continued filming as they edged backward.

After an agonizing internal debate, I finally dialed the number. There was no answer. I tried again but still nothing. Hector noticed the sudden shift in my demeanor. "Hey, what's wrong?" I couldn't bring myself to speak and just kept redialing. On the third attempt, the call finally connected. The background noise was deafening—people screaming and distant weeping. "Hello?" an unfamiliar voice answered. "Hi, I'm Eileen Allen. Who am I speaking with?" The person on the other end replied, "I'm a neighbor. Your mom was just rushed to the hospital. Your dad… He didn't make it."

The climb into the van bickering among each other. *A few hours later* Jolene wakes up and is shocked and confused by the handsome Stranger sitting next to her. She looks around and she notices that Rora and Luna are driving behind them. She can see they’re not panicking, so she just takes a deep breath and turns her upper body towards the man. She tries to be stern but polite, “I’m Sorry sir who are you?” He Chuckles, “You see a strange man next to you that you don’t know and you choose to call him, sir?”

The stranger looked toward the dark passage. “Someone thinks they do.” A distant sound interrupted them. A soft scrape. Everyone turned. The sound came from somewhere beyond the chamber. Ethan immediately moved closer to Aria. Victor raised his weapon. Jonathan’s hand went to his side. The stranger lifted the lantern. “Don’t.” Victor looked at them. “Don’t what?” “Make noise.” Everyone froze. The sound came again. A faint footstep. Then another. Someone was moving through the passage. Aria’s heart began beating faster.

However, Jennifer blocked our exit, one hand on the door and the other propped against my side, trapping us in her power play. "Leaving? Not until you've explained yourself." She looked down, her presence suffocating. I could only look at her and feel sorry for the woman she had become. At that moment, someone knocked on the lounge door from outside. "Jennifer, are you there? The director's on our case." I knew that voice instantly; it was Elliot Baker, the man who had set me up four years ago. Jennifer inhaled deeply, steadied her emotions, and opened the door.
