The castle stands tall, its towers gleaming white under a harsh morning sun, but the walls are scorched, blackened by flame. The air is heavy with smoke. The streets are flooded with people, warriors in golden armor clashing with shadow-cloaked enemies. Screams fill the air, sharp and distant. The city is alive and dying all at once.
