CHAPTER 1 PROLOGUE: The door of the room opened and a man entered with a serious face, his gaze was sharp and hateful while staring at the petite woman sitting on the chair in a prison uniform handcuffed, her head was wrapped in a gauze. She was smiling gladly, but the man’s poker face was still. “So, I am here.” The man said while standing near the door. “Come and sit near to me,” The woman said. The man walked to the chair and sat, “Do you still have no regrets?” He asked.

He's going to tell everyone that this cat belongs to him! [Hahaha!]

said Edie, “it won’t bite. I promise. It’s actually a very nice hat. Reliable.” She spoke of the hat as if it had feelings. “Right….um….okay…” I took one foot and put it through the hole of the hat. To my surprise, there was no bottom. I searched and searched for it but nothing came with it. “Um…oh…. this is weird.” Edie nodded. “Put the other one in. You’ll be transported in a flash. I’ve enchanted it so that it’s only got one destination. As long as I’ve grabbed the right hat, you should be fine.”

For a minute, Knox could hear the white cat clock on the other end of the room tick away as if it were right next to his eardrums. He stared into Victor's overly rugged and masculine face, wondering what devil rose from hell into the man to ask him that fucking question. Cold sweat slid down his neck. The question was absurd. Everyone had the same thoughts about the captain. The captain couldn’t be so fucking blind not to see their loud opinions on their faces every single morning call.

"It is!" I glance to the fire pit and retrieve my own matching cup to get a better look at the image. In the middle, two pieces of text arch to form an almost circle. The top piece reads "Tom's Tiki Lounge" while the bottom lists a website for Tom's. The middle of the circle is the most amazing. Smack dab between the two font arches, in full color, is a picture of a grey striped tabby cat sitting upright. Trey turns his own cup to see what I'm so excited about. "It's a cat?"

If it weren’t for the tabby’s voice, I would’ve still been in the dark. Without hesitation, I gave the tabby two big chicken drumsticks. And just like that, I heard its thoughts again. “Waaah, these drumsticks are amazing. My owner is so pretty and kind! “But my silly, beautiful owner, you can’t keep dieting like this. You’re working yourself to the bone, and in the end it’s all benefiting that evil woman!” I listened quietly, then pulled the tabby into my arms and kissed it. There was no need to worry. The real show hadn’t even started yet.

The Ghost hummed, having a wraithlike smile on his now visible lips. Heather eyed the cat who had gotten extra-large since she last laid her eyes on it. It looked at her with such hatred, that she could have sworn the obnoxiously arrogant animal intended for her to turn insanely dramatic into believing—she was the cat from Matt’s show. Through some twisted fuckery of events, the imagination of the script writer had culminated into an atrocious reality, which no one would trust, unless they’re barmy. “No, that can’t be true.”

Catherine Hart, Cat, had first met Kate at TAC Limited. Catherine had come for an interview for the job of a secretary at the Chassis department. She and some others had been waiting patiently for their turn; there were still 10 people to Catherine's turn. Catherine was about to give up, she was really tired and hungry, and the interview of the woman who had just entered was taking longer than expected. Remembering how much she really needed the job she decided to wait some more.

"Mommy! This man gave me a stuffed toy and said he'd bring me to you, but I don’t like the toy. "Mommy, I miss you. When are we going home? You promised to read me the Cinderella story tonight." Micah carried Halle over to me. Though Halle could not see, her sense of smell was sharp, and she asked me in a worried tone, "Mommy, are you bleeding? Let's go to the hospital now. Mommy..." Micah crouched down to look at the panicked Halle. "Halle, do you want your mommy to go to the hospital? If you do, then call your daddy and tell him to come here."

“What now?’ Intrigue, but more likely putting his nosy nose into his own monkey business, he giggles for a minute as he gladly answers back with the satisfied tone of his following words. “Well, what else do you think that I will do?” calmly saying those words at first as his face immediately changes into a hellish grin and added, “Of course claim everything that he owns. After all, I deem to be his replacement.” Laughing satisfyingly with the evil mind and intention at hand. The said cat only pours in a mix of delight and disgust, yet loving the personality of the mad hatter. Leaping unto the window sill and unto the light of the full moon, it draws a smile bidding him a temporary goodbye.
