He unlocked the gates with some control in his hand, it slid out of our way, and we both drove in. I breathed in deep and hard, reminding myself that we were going to make the second time around a success. Not everybody was fortunate enough to get two chances with the love of their life, and I was not going to butcher the second chance I got.

I said while hopping upstairs. The fatigue in my bones seemed to have disappeared, and every part of me screamed of strength. I couldn't stop giggling. Getting to the room, I closed the door behind me, but the moment I stepped forward, the door opened. A pair of strong arms grabbed my waist and my back, and I fell into a warm embrace. "Escaping, huh?" Xavier whispered into my ear. "Impossible." Then, he bit my earlobe. My entire body trembled with his touch, and a low moan escaped my lips. Seeing that wasn’t working, she yelled, her arms flailing, and strong arms locked around her waist, stopping her from hitting the floor. Her husband’s heart beat against her back while hers pounded in her throat and chest. She touched her hand to the arm locked around her middle. Maybe this was a sign to forgive and give him another chance. Stepping out of his embrace, she gulped. “I, I didn’t mean—” His fingers caressed her jaw. Those liquid gray eyes made her feel like she was staring into the depth of his soul. “I didn’t mean for you to catch me.” “I’ll always catch you,” he whispered.

He hugged me to himself and pats my face in a romantic manner. “What’s he up to and why the sudden attraction?” I thought within myself as goosebumps raise on my skin. “I thought I was going to lose you…Now, I’ll always be here by your side.” He whispered as if he heard my heart💖.
