The Devil's Fire

The Devil's Fire

He gave me a soft smile, making me return a shy smile. “You know, in Greek mythology, Althaia was the Queen of Calydon, and a woman of fierce passion. She is celebrated in an ancient story about the fate of her son, Meleager. When he was born, the Moirai, or the Fates in English, came to foretell his future, and they predicted he would die as soon as one of the sticks in the fireplace burned out completely. When Althaia heard that, she pulled the stick from the fire, put the fire out, and hid it in a safe place.”

Although the FL oftentimes annoyed me due to her stupidity and recklessness, I loved the story, the humor, the relationship between the characters and the sexual tension in all the couples. Great read!

Demon's Evolution

Demon's Evolution

I sat still, my gaze riveted on the oncoming assailants. The aura of the centaurs intensified with the monarch's power. The warhorses beneath them, as well as their entire bodies, were nearly completely enveloped in a golden aura, and their superb dark armour showed off their exquisite frames. Their force was insurmountable, as though they were the legion of gods. It was hard to believe they were human with their formidable visage! Behind the thirty centaurs, a monstrous projection appeared. The projection was breathtaking, a giant centaur covered in celestial armour with two golden eyes that appeared to see through everything. Its hands were holding a spear that rocked the ground and touche

THE ALPHA'S DESTINY (THE PROPHECY)

"Yes, we were told by the centaurs that—" "ARGH!!!" The tree growled in anger, drowning out Zander's words. "Those conniving dirty half-breeds. Are you in alliance with them?" She asked the vampire. "No, that's why we want to find Echidna, we just want to talk to her," Zander answered for Dimitri. The tree sighed, then she lowered Dimitri to his feet. "Ok, I'm listening." "Thank you, now we were told that Echidna ate the female centaurs a century ago and that she's a stone-cold killer," Zander explained.

One of the best books. I love this writer. I have read 2 of her books so far and I can’t wait for this one and the rejected omega is the lycan Kings mate to be completed. Fiona’s writing skills are on point and she always adds humor to her books. I hope you get some motivation to complete this one.

HELLO AGAIN! I know it has been ages but the book has finally been edited and I have a few new chapters that I’ll be posting in the coming New Year. Some chapters have been split in 2 or 3 due to GoodNovel’s new policy. But if you’ve read the book to the chapter called Alfonso, then you’re good.

After The Night

After The Night

And it would stay that way unless someone knew how to find the way in. Eira recalled several times she had heard stories of witches that people once believed resided in their town. It was said that they had planted the mystical Bloodivy trees that lined the Redwater lake. The story seemed believable since those trees couldn't be found elsewhere in the world. But in the books, they had termed the trees 'endemic' to Orilon. They never spoke of vampires, but often she heard fearsome tales about the forest surrounding her town. The Centaurus forest was supposed to have centaurs living in it. People rarely ventured into it, not because of the fear of human-horse hybrids but for four-legged wild b

Asterion

Asterion

I doubt many will ever care to read this. I doubt many will believe my story let alone that I wrote it with my hand. But all you are about to read is true. This is the story of my life. I am a bastard, a monster, a deity, and the first of my kind. I am Asterion of Crete. You may know me better as Minotaur. I was born at sunset of the summer solstice to Queen Pasiphaë. Before my birth, King Minos and everyone in Crete thought I would be their ninth child and heir to the throne. However, at my birth, it became very apparent my mother had been unfaithful.

Such an interesting & sweet twist to the Minotaur's story. Loved it! Asterion was so well depicted & emotionally drawn. The ending & epilogues were just so heart touching. I was very moved by the ending. Thanks for a very lovely, moving story.

I loved this story. I started reading it twice before, then just read it all way through over the last couple of days. I really want more like this! It was such a great twist on the Minotaur Myths and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Traveling the world to find my mate

Traveling the world to find my mate

I high tail out of there into the next room. Next up there are Roman marble heads. It is even more creepy so I walk to the next one. This is the Recumbent man. This is a full sculpture of a man sitting on his side. It looks like he doesn't have a shirt on. The Medea Sarcophage looks like multiple females with long flowing dresses. The centaurs are a mosaic that caught my eye straight away. It is a scene of a centaur trying to fight off a tiger, a leopard, and a lion to save his friend. By the looks of things, his friend is already dead.

Dark Lord's Cinderella

Dark Lord's Cinderella

Etiro suddenly came to her attention and joined her into the kiosk. "Etiro!" She exclaimed while looking at the full grown size forest nymph now. She frowned at him, "Don't bring me trouble," Etiro laughed at that, "No I wont." "You always did." "Sorry about that. I can't help but play around." "The king had you under the hunting list," she seriously said when he gasped at that. "Me?" "Uhuh, Centaurs are ordered to kill you on sight." she further joked in serious face.

We walked into the main hall of the castle, and I saw four Centaurs and King Izzoth talking with King Fenris and Queen Nina. Conri and I walked up to them, and I greeted, "Hello, everyone!" I approached King Izzoth and gave him a hug. I approached King Chiron, and he held his arms out for a hug. I stepped in them and gave him a hug. I shook the other Centaurs hands as they told me their names. Trina's mate, Zughar, Thraag, Ezram and Delvor are the Centaurs who will be here to guard me. I asked Chiron to go to the conference room with me for a moment.

'I bet there are thousands of mythological books' I thought, I looked around as much as I could while Hades carried me. ''You love books, don't you?'' He commented as he weaved his way through shelf after shelf of books, following Lachesis. ''No, just mythological books,'' I replied ''The underworld is the source of all mythological books and stories.'' Hades huffed. ''Are you not serious?'' I asked in disbelief. ''Do you know the myth of Cerberus?'' He asked. ''Of course. He's the Greek hellhound. It's one of the most famous myths'' I replied.

Demon King: The Werewolf And The Lily

Amanda replied, confused about the Centaurs reaction. “No, silly,” the Centaur cook replied and laughed at Amanda, “She would never hate you. She was happy.” “What?” Amanda asked in confusion, “But She was crying when she left.” No. She was crying tears of joy.” The Centaur explained, “You see, for us creatures, especially the Harpies who do not grow up with their parents, a name is a very treasured thing. A name binds us to the person that gives it to us. She was too happy to hear that her friend is offering to give her something important.”
