Then the massive form emerged from the depths. My heart skipped a beat as I glimpsed the creature a hulking, monstrous figure rising out of the water. It was Cancer, the Crab, with its oversized shell, eight powerful legs, massive pincers, and those terrible, protruding black eyes that locked onto us like a predator with no intention of mercy. He turned toward me with a wide grin, his deep voice rumbling through the flooded arena.

Horns curled from his head in polished black, elegant rather than monstrous. Tyrel's jaw dropped. “W-Wait—WHAT? That’s Cerberus?!” Tyrel sputtered, using both hands to point because one wasn’t enough. “Where are the three heads?! The dog heads?! The fangs?! The drool?!” Slowly, once, Cerberus had blinked at him. Then smirked. “My, my. Cute little mortal has quite the imagination.” Tyrel flushed so red he almost combusted. “I-I’m not mortal.
