I’ll call you once I settle down there,” She said and Aryan nodded his head. *** Daniel and his gang of bad boys reached Las Vegas, the city of glam and glitz, to enjoy their holidays. “Let’s go to Las Vegas boulevards? What say, guys?” One of his guys proposed the idea and everyone agreed, including Daniel. They hired a cab and as Daniel sat inside the backseat of the car, his eyes fell on the church across the road decorated with sparkling lights.

Las Vegas shimmered under the lights, a city built for spectacle, but tonight, all eyes were on the Las Vegas Stadium soon to known as Allegiant Stadium. The world championship game was more than a sporting event; it was a cultural moment. Philadelphia had flooded the desert with green and silver, and the Talons were ready to make history.

I chanted recklessly, ignoring the crazy banging in my head and the mucus that dropped out of my nose. Unable to go back to sleep, I decided to surf the internet and do a little background research on Las Vegas. “Las Vegas, nicknamed the Entertainment Capital of the World and also known as Sin City.” I muttered the results of the search under my breath, rubbing my palms together and grabbing my pocket-sized notepad to sketch my plans. The next morning, I picked a few of my properties and flew with Derrick to Las Vegas. We stepped off the plane and into the airport, blending into the stream of passengers clearing the remaining formalities. Then I looked up.

Victor put the finishing touches on his presentation, and, satisfied with the result, sat back in his chair. The upcoming trip to Las Vegas was a critical turning point for him, personally and professionally, and he couldn’t leave anything to chance. His plans of expanding his empire were still a secret, but he knew that the Las Vegas Strip would be the place to start if he wanted to make an entrance people would notice.

I stare unseeingly through the window, as the ever busy nightlife speeds by. "We're here." My head snaps up as the driver announces my destination. I alight and pay, watching him drive off and wishing he would come back and take me with him. If wishes were horses. I turn around on a deep breath, looking up at the huge skyscraper before me. The Camonerra is the finest, most expensive five star hotel in Las Vegas, catering only to the most wealthy in the town. I heard a night in the regular rooms here could cost upwards of fifty thousand dollars.

I cannot stay in a place he owns while I investigate him. Vegas is breathtaking and lively. Just like in the movies. Staring at all the colorful buildings as we pass by. The cab driver is friendly and can tell it is my first time here. He starts telling me where to find nice and cheap food to eat and what casino to visit and which to stay clear off. The reporter in me starts to pry into business I don’t belong. Questioning about all the back door stuff and sketchy stuff going on. The poor driver doesn't know how to answer me and keeps saying I don’t know why, are you a cop? "What about Lenkov?" I finally ask. A concern frown spreads on his forehead.

*** I stood at the edge of the balcony in the tallest penthouse in Las Vegas looking down at the bustling city with beautiful stars shining above in the sky. I fidgeted turning to look towards the door for the tenth time tightly grabbing my robe covering my body. We'd arrived at Las Vegas, Vincent hadn't said a word to me after he brought me here. This evening two women had come in to help me bathe and clean up, they had then given me a scandalous looking lingerie that came with a pale pink robe. The fabric was so thin and sheer I could feel the cold wind of the night touching my thighs. I knew what would happen tonight after those women had prepared me, Vincent Morano would have sex with me

I said as I touched my forehead. “You mean four tickets?” Klaus asked as I smiled. “I’m sure you can find yourself ticket.” I tapped his shoulder and smiled before I left the room. The flight to Las Vegas from Detroit was four hours tops and it was the longest hour of my life but Azreal was beside me with a magazine that informed and taught him a few things he wanted to know about the humans of Las Vegas. My eyes would once in a while look at Elijah who would withdraw his eyes from Azreal and myself and Heavens knows where Klaus would be if he wasn’t already in Detroit.

I said as one corner of my lips curled into a wicked smile. He laughed. The light turned green and, a short time later, we were driving down the Las Vegas strip. Adrenaline filled my body as the bright neon lights of every color adorning the casinos and clubs bombarded us. We passed the famous Caesar's Palace, illuminated purple and white; the tall, black glass pyramid of the Luxar; the lovely castle fa?ade of the Excalibur, beautifully illuminated in various neon colors and more.

After a week, we leave the country again for Las Vegas. It's my first time there and I must admit, the place is so alive and wonderful. Rodney explained to me everything, that he will chase down a notorious drug lord so I must be with Daniel for a while. "Do you want something, Miss?" Daniel asked. "Uhm, can we order some red wine?" I suggested it because we were in a Casino. "Yeah sure, whatever you want," he said and he went directly to the bar counter and ordered some red wine while I stared at Rodney.
