Novel & Cerita Chapter 28 Jane Eyre Summary

She called out, slowly advancing towards Eryx’ room. She slowly pushed the door open, walking without taking any permission. Her eyes widened as she glared at Eryx and Nova standing so close to each other. She saw Eryx’ belt loosened, forcing her to feel a pricking pain in her heart. Her mind reeled vigorously as she tried so hard to get her act together, thus remaining calm before a situation that was already driving her nuts. Jane was already furious within her because Eryx is hers, and she never had the intention of sharing him with anyone, not even Nova.

“At least there isn’t any danger here “, Jane retorted, still looking around. She was looking through a stack of books on a cabinet like her life depended on it. I began to question the sense in even coming here in the first place. I didn’t know what I had hoped to find and Chloe was right; it was reckless. And I couldn’t afford to be reckless, especially not now. I was about to sink a little into despair when Jane called out. “Look I found something.” She held up a little black book that was almost identical to the one I found in my father’s study. There was only more gibberish inside. Both of us froze instantly as if in sync. There were sounds of footsteps coming from the front porch.

Not careless. Intentional. Jane exhaled slowly and started walking again, but her pace had changed now. Slightly faster. More focused. She tried to shake it off at first. It didn’t work. By the time she reached the gate, the thought was still there, sitting at the back of her mind like something unfinished. --- When Jane got home, the apartment was quiet. Zara was exactly where she left her, sitting on the couch with her laptop. This time, she was actually typing.

“Persistence does pay off, mademoiselle, but do take care. It would be a terrible shame to spoil those pretty, dark locks.” She managed somehow not to start at the voice sounding directly behind her, and turned to shoot him an evil glare, at the same time catching a whiff of burning hair. Jerking back in alarm, she banged her head on the chimney ledge, sat down abruptly, and rubbed the injured spot. “You clumsy, bumbling hulk of a man. What are you doing, sneaking up on me like that?”

I was already fully agitated and very angry that I was sure Henry had never seen me that way before in his life. I could see him at the corner of my eye trying to calm me down but I wasn’t going to hear it. “Listen to me! You can’t just bring trouble to my door and expect me not to get mad! Or expect me to let you go like that!” I thundered making her flinch but she wasn’t even budging. “I’m so sorry Jane, I didn’t mean to!” She pleaded crying and that was when I heard a glass shatter and the sound was coming from my baby’s room.

Thinking that the security of this neighborhood was very good, she hesitated for a while and went inside, though she was very afraid. Seeing that the living room was in a mess and it was no longer clean and luxurious, Jane widened her eyes and looked around with a shiver. Then she looked in the direction of the second floor, "Young... Madam, are you... at home?" No, even if Elizabeth was at home, how could she ruin the living room like this? She was always gentle and kind. "Young Master... are you back?" Jane shouted again, but there was still no response. Jane stood still and hesitated for a moment. She knew that she should call the superintendent or call the police at this time, but she li

My arms were soft to the touch, and I could vaguely smell the charming scent of her body. It turns out that after cleaning up, her body will also have such a charming fragrance. I had some bad associations because of these soft touches and charming scents, but I quickly came to my senses. She was just a pretty antique vase, a wimpy piece of crap. I looked at Jane' face. Her eyes were closed tightly and her brow was furrowed as if she was enduring pain. What was wrong with her? I quickly carried her back to her room, then touched her forehead, and a burning heat passed through my fingertips.

The slime demon was gone. Red and Anya had seen what had happened. Jane's hair had come shooting down shortly after the monster's intentions had been made clear and encircled the thing, pulling it up to the rooftop before it could make a sound. The two women found a fire-escape and quickly made their way up, arriving at the roof of the building just in time to see one of the demon's limbs land on the edge. Jane had ripped the monster apart. She was dripping with the green blood of her victim, and her eyes were barely human themselves. When she saw Red, the humanity returned and she dropped to her knees, crying like a child.

" Jane thought. He gave her a last look before leaving the room. Jane touched her chest as if to calm down the raging feelings within her. She looked joyful though. "Step three has been achieved." She smiled and looked around. She could feel the chills. "But why is this room so cold?" She whispered. Just as her eyes were about to overlook the window. A torchlight flashed through the dark. She seemed surprised and then went to the window. The forbidden building? Who is there? What is going on? She thought as she tried to see very more in the dark when Allen spoke behind her.
