Chapter 12: It was cold, and the creaking of the chair echoed through the room, the curtains rustled as the wind blew against them. The clouds were Grey, it seemed it was going to rain. I began to question the sense in even coming here in the first place. I didn’t know what I had hoped to find and Chloe was right; it was reckless. And I couldn’t afford to be reckless, especially not now. I was about to sink a little into despair when Jane called out. “Look I found something.” She held up a little black book that was almost identical to the one I found in my father’s study. There was only more gibberish inside. Both of us froze instantly as if in sync. There were sounds of footsteps coming from the front porch.

She was finally at the place of no return. "What's your name?" "Jane." "I am Lord Irene. I am in charge of the workers in the Vampire Palace. This is where the whole procedure takes place and lectures. No one is allowed out without any specific functions. Go into that room and change into this. I give you five more minutes." She instructed coldly and Jane did as she was told. When she got into that room, she was already crying. She missed her brother so much and the wonderful world she was in. How long was she gone? Would anybody even notice her disappearance? She was doomed now because if she had known, she ought to have listened but she didn't.

I said rolling my eyes. She got up from the bed and walked over to me. She hugged me tightly and whispered in my ear. “You know what you have to do, Jane,” she said softly. “Tonight is the night when everything will change. Tonight is the night when you will start your revenge on him properly.” I smiled wickedly and hugged her back. She was right. I walked out of the room, ready to face him again. He was waiting for me in the living room. He smiled when he saw me and stood up. “There you are, my beautiful wife,” he said looking at me with admiration in his eyes.
