Wealthy people from Waindale and surrounding towns sent their children to school there. Eventually, the wolves came back, subtly. A cow now and then went missing. A hunter spotted one in the forest two or three times, but they posed no immediate threat. Skipping further ahead, the chapter titled: Wolves Attack steals my attention completely. My phone vibrates in my pocket. I'm late for dinner. I check out the book and keep it safe from the rain in my backpack as I hurry home. That night, after grandma has gone to bed, and as my mom stays up to finish her novel in the living room, I curl up in bed with my book. Just as I open to the chapter, my phone lights up. It's Vivian.

I decided to drop it with Theo before going home first to change then leave to see Anna and Casey at Clary's house. I got into my car and drove to the garage, coming down I didn't see Theo around, so I dropped the keys before leaving when something wacked me at the back of my head. I skimmed immediately to the floor, hitting my head on a table. The darkness started to pour in but before it did I head Casey's voice in my subconscious. Daddy, please come! **Ugh, everything's just falling apart. I'm so glad Noah made it to the second round. But I'm also worried for Anna and Casey. Next chapter is coming out soon. Her rainbow eyes revealed mischief but she exhaled in relief and took a look at the remaining green bottle in her hand before whispering some words and materializing. Jane took an evening bath and got herself ready to meet her mysterious husband. She had received a call from Mister Paul earlier reminding her not to be late. She took a cab and went to Old Madam Ryan's mansion. It seemed like everyone around was already aware of her new status as she was being referred to as Young Madam. She got to the sitting room and met the Matriarch seated on a huge chair with a magazine in her hands. She was flipping the pages when she noticed Jane walking in timidly. She beamed at her.

Her whole body trembled. Darkness flickered across her vision before she screamed and lunged forward. “A ring… Dad, Mom, this is Brian’s hand!” Jane fainted on the spot. David shook with rage and roared, “She must be trying to run. Hurry, one of you go find Mr. Kane. The rest of you, come with me. We’ll cut her off at the road!” A sudden unease gripped me for no reason at all. After finding only a few bars of chocolate, I took a side path and ran.

Aunt Helen is also waiting to devour me. “It’s fine,” I tell her. “You can go.” Jade’s brown eyes water, and heat creeps up my neck as I glance away, unsure where to look. I might have escaped Aunt Helen and my cousins, but it feels like I’ve entered another cage. Only that this one is fancier. “M-my lady.” “What’s the problem?” I ask, forcing myself to look up. A tear falls to her cheek. She shakes her head, twisting her hands in her dress. “Just say it already.”

I hadn't had any encounters with her since then and I didn't plan to. I stepped aside from the entrance as I looked down at my feet not wanting to make any eye contact with her. From the corner of my eyes, she stopped as she stood in front of me. I didn't look up at her, as my thoughts ran places wondering what the hell she wanted this time. I felt her gaze on me and in an instant, the paper from the top of my books was snatched by a pair of hands with neatly painted nails. I gasped in shock, realizing that Jane had taken Henry's homework from me and my blood ran cold and all the hair at the back of my hair stood and my breath but stuck in my throat.

And the last page with anything written in it was in English “THE RISE OF DISASTER” “That somewhat looks like blood. I haven’t seen these blank pages before and I’m sure I’ve gone over it like a hundred times or so.” Everest inspected but Eva had zones out, unaware of the world around her. She stared at the like she was drawn to it, like it was calling her. “That is enough; you are scaring my friend.” Jayne said closingthe book up and placing it on the table. Shouldn’t an old relic like this be kept somewhere safe until the museum picks it up?”

Not careless. Intentional. Jane exhaled slowly and started walking again, but her pace had changed now. Slightly faster. More focused. She tried to shake it off at first. It didn’t work. By the time she reached the gate, the thought was still there, sitting at the back of her mind like something unfinished. --- When Jane got home, the apartment was quiet. Zara was exactly where she left her, sitting on the couch with her laptop. This time, she was actually typing.

My eyes widened in fear. Oh my god, I kicked his glory. I immediately covered my mouth with my hand in shock and slid down with shaky legs. I tried to fix myself. Some crockery fell too when I was moving. “Jane, you are going to regret doing this to me,” he said in pain and tried to stand up. He tried to catch me but I ran to the door without tripping down on the floor. Opening the door I found an aunt standing there “Jane why is your face so red? Are you not feeling well?” she asked me in a worried voice and then she looked inside “Zanvil, what are you doing half laying on the floor?” she asked him with furrowed brows.
