The Stolen Address

The Stolen Address

So how did she even know where you work? His words hit me like a bolt of lightning. A trap? I hated trouble. I had actually been thinking that if she kept insisting on apologizing, I'd eventually accept just to put an end to the whole thing and avoid more misunderstandings. Now that I thought about it, though, this really did feel like a setup. After parting ways with Rocco, I took a taxi home. As soon as I entered the residential complex, a chill ran down my spine. I usually used the side entrance. At night, very few people came through that area.

He said. “I have one but it’s already chapter one.” I said hesitantly. “Read it for me, please…” *Cataclysm Chapter 01 I'm walking on the hallway of the school to pay the books I need. Everyone is busy talking to their old friends, some for their newfound friends and what makes me agitated is it seems someone is following me and it seems someone is watching me every corner of the school. It makes me feel uneasy. ---

DIVORCED BY THE BILLIONAIRE, DESIRED BY HIS RIVAL

DIVORCED BY THE BILLIONAIRE, DESIRED BY HIS RIVAL

Chapter 7: The Stranger in 1408 Melanie's POV The Rosewood Hotel loomed above me like a glass and steel fortress, its golden lights reflecting off the rain-slicked streets. I stood across the road, soaked to the bone, clutching the envelope of cash and burner phone like they were lifelines. Maybe they were.

STEP BROTHER DEAREST

STEP BROTHER DEAREST

Chapter 92 The city had grown quiet, but the silence was deceptive. Streets gleamed with the residue of rain, neon signs flickered faintly in broken glass, and shadows stretched unnaturally long, as if aware of the movements beneath them. This was no longer a reactive cityscape. The streets themselves had become a stage for a deeper game, a web of threats, alliances, and hidden observers. And tonight, we would walk right into its heart.

Dice

Dice

Every step was coated with regrets, the burns were intensifying. He stepped into a street and was greeted with a loud sound, a band was playing on stage, it was a young girl's birthday, and the place was filled with lots of kids dressed in all kinds of costumes, almost an Halloween party. He rushed a little more, the bank was around the corner, he could smell roasted meat and vanilla, that should be the ice cream, he could pick the smell of groundnut. That one was odd, he had two hands in his pocket. He suddenly remembered that he had a dagger, those weren't allowed in the bank.

This is such an interesting book, and the characters are really good. Jane is that one friend anybody should have, and then Elara who was called barren was finally going to be having her baby. It's a pity her husband had to cheat on her with her step sister. Overall the story is really good.

Honestly I love that she had a friend like Jane, I love her personality. I love how I could feel every emotion you tried to put into words and everything played like a movie in my thoughts. This is such a good read. Kudos dear author...️

(29). Sorry, I’m An Anti-Romantic . By Authoress Kamara . Chapter 29: Delusional . Miles was sprinting down the street, avoiding the sidewalk because it was too crowded, and dodging cars as they came his way. Aiden needed him, he told himself. Aiden was a damsel in distress in need of saving, and Miles was his knight. He would make him happy again, like he always did. He skidded around the corner toward the deeper suburbs where he knew

Rejected for Her Curves, Claimed by the Blood Alpha

Rejected for Her Curves, Claimed by the Blood Alpha

"They’re trying to turn a Life back into a Story. But as long as we keep the Hearth warm, they’ll never be able to find the 'Full Stop'." I looked at the horizon. The 190th Chapter was over. It wasn't a cliffhanger. It wasn't a tragedy. It was a Settlement. And as the Moon-Apex light in my marrow settled into a steady, peaceful hum, I realized that for the first time in my life, I wasn't waiting for the next chapter. I was In it. The Audit is a Memory. The Asset is a Mother. The North is Home.

Emergency Lane: Blocked by the Mob

Emergency Lane: Blocked by the Mob

At that moment, alarms blared from all directions. "Lilian, the police are closing in," one of Lilian's subordinates said. Lilian immediately lifted me onto her back, trying to carry me away. I looked at the panic on her face and found it almost laughable. I refused, saying, "My leg is injured. I can't move." "Please, come with me," Lilian pleaded. She ignored my protests, hoisted me onto her back, and fled toward a remote valley. She moved through the area as if she knew every inch. For a moment, it looked like she might actually escape.
