Ding. She jumped at the sound of the doorbell and glanced at her two packed bags. Gerri had been particular about asking her to keep things to a minimum, but had told Charlotte there was an area with amazing snow and ice she’d probably want to check out. A lover of all things snow, Charlotte had packed her winter clothes in hopes of visiting the colder area. Ding. Ding. “Coming!” she yelled, rushing to the front door. With a single yank, she opened it and saw her sister, Rebecca, frowning in the entryway. The urge to slam it closed and shut her lovely sister out hit Charlotte with the speed of a freight train.

The driver stepped out, his gloved hands opening the back door with a practiced bow. “Welcome, Mr. and Mrs. Morgan,” he said, his accent crisp and polite. “We’re not married yet,” I corrected, climbing into the car. “Close enough,” Charlotte quipped as she slid in beside me, settling into the plush leather seats with practiced ease. The car was warm, a welcome change from the biting cold outside. I stretched out a bit, watching as Charlotte pulled out her phone, her fingers already flying across the screen. "So," she began, glancing at me briefly. "Liam said the rehearsal dinner starts at six tomorrow. That gives us just enough time to—"

“ You better not try coming here Charlotte. I don't want you to come. I can't have a quickie with you in the office. I can't have you here with me.” " Unfortunately Drake. I am already here in your company.” Charlotte grinned and the line went dead. Before I could imagine what was happening,the door to my office opened and Charlotte stepped in. “ Hi Drake." She greeted, stepping deeper into my office,a smirk on her face. So Charlotte wasn't joking after all. " What are you doing here?.” Charlotte chuckled, taking off her jacket. " I'm here for a quickie.” Without making an effort to persuade her out of my office,I picked up my walkie talkie device.

“I am sorry that I was rude yesterday. It will not happen again.” Eric’s earnest tone subsided her fury, Charlotte gulped down the hot coffee in one go. “I will complete my scheduled work and see you after lunch.” … “How many bags are left?” When Orion came with multiple bags for the third time, Eric ran out if patience and opened some out of curiosity. “Are we going to open a kid’s shop there?” He glanced at Charlotte, who was dressed in her signature white t-shirt and jeans. “My best friend is pregnant, we are going to congratulate her.”

Harry listened carefully to his mother as she explained everything that had happened that day. Charlotte watched the fire dancing by the fireplace as if it would help her recall what really happened that day. Charlene asked permission to go to a friend’s house. Charlotte knew something was off that day because Charlene never had friends besides Weiss and Louise but she still let her as long as the knights would be with her. Charlene left in a hurry after picking the most simple dress she had in the closet and kissed her parents goodbye. “When we found her, she was surrounded by—” Charlotte shifted her gaze to her hands and fidgeted her fingers. She swallowed the lump in her throat.

Charlotte is a walking enigma, she knows how to put people in doubt, and come out victorious in any situation. Martty opens the office door, and she walks inside, without waiting for a formal invitation. Perhaps her attitude, besides her beauty, captivated Ethan. -"I don't want to be disturbed," I say, as an order. Martty nods. I walk inside and close the door, locking it behind me. Charlotte is standing in front of the large glass window, staring out at the horizon beyond her. "I know I'm not your favorite guest," she says absently. We're at an impasse, because she's right.

A car horn honked outside. Charlotte peeked through the curtain. “Ohhh he’s here. He’s driving some black fancy-looking thing. I don’t know the model but the vibes are wealthy.” My stomach twisted. “I can’t go.” “Yes you can.” She grabbed my face gently. “Breathe. You’re not marrying him. You’re just going to eat overpriced sea creatures for ninety minutes. You’ll survive.” She dragged me toward the door. “Charlotte, wait” “Nope!” She shoved me outside. “Have fun! Text me if he tries to kidnap you!”

As Charlotte's belly gradually grew larger, she initially participated in some activities. But later, she basically stayed in the estate, confined indoors for several months. When she was close to six months pregnant, it coincided with Bridget's birthday and also the grand opening of the largest comprehensive club in Portchester City, owned by Eli. Eli sent them an invitation to visit Portchester City. Upon hearing that they could go out, Charlotte was excited the night before and couldn't sleep well. The next morning, she was sitting on the sofa playing games with Julie while Griffith was in and out, packing her personal belongings.

The next day Charlotte went to babes to resign from her job. She wanted to speak to Gage before she tells Jojo that she was going to quit both dancing and working behind the desk helping with administration stuff, for the older woman. Charlotte didn't have to wait for long when less than ten minutes later Gage arrived and Charlotte knocked on his door. "Come on in. Hello, Charlotte, how are you this afternoon?" he opened their conversation casually as he start sipping his drink from his tumbler. It was probably coffee that his wife, Bree had made for him before he goes to Babes.
