Blake replied almost immediately. Audrey frowned and sat down beside Blake. "And about your crush, Ixora, have you kissed her yet?" Skye grinned. "Bro, come on," Blake smiled in return. “‘You looked so peaceful.’” My hands feel cold. The scarf slides out of my grip and falls to the floor. Cassie looks at me, serious now. “We’re calling Jerry.” She grabs her phone and hits his contact. “Get over here. Now,” she says into the phone before hanging up. Ten minutes later, Jerry strolls in with his backpack like he’s arriving for a game night. “Well, well, well… what did I miss?” Cassie shoves the photo at him. “This.”
