Cindy scoffed. Laughter erupted between Chloe and Cindy. Selena’s pout deepened, clearly embarrassed. “I heard Colet wants to take over that deadbeat hotel of theirs,” Chloe said, sipping her drink as her stylist curled a strand of her hair. “Is she stupid?” Cindy asked, eyebrows raised. “Perhaps,” Selena muttered, still licking her wounded pride. Chloe glanced at Cindy. “Speaking of hotels, why aren’t you managing your family’s?” Cindy rolled her eyes and took a languid sip from her iced caramel latte “Shane is. I don’t want to do any work.”

He had a small bottle and rubbed oil all over before placing a towel and reclining. We talked. He was just eighteen, going to college in the fall. Tara had told me about the family, mentioned him, but never gave much detail. Chaz was a much better student and was getting a full ride. The conversation got a bit more adult and we shared stories. My crew was a busy boy. He's had a few girlfriends. He was currently un-attached since his girlfriend found out she was sharing him with her mother. We both got a big laugh out of that. I told him I was jealous. Having twins wore Mindy out and life in bed was pretty dull, for now. Chaz asked me what my most outrageous sexual adventure was.

Zachariah says, striding over to us, hand in hand with his mate. "Indeed, but it can wait until everyone is rested. I, for one, need a shower and something to eat, I'm ravenous, not all of us got to sleep half the battle away." Calista adds, winking at Cain who snorts out a laugh. "Cal…" Zachariah gently chides and she steps closer to him, leaning her head against his arm but her amused smirk is still in place. Over her shoulder I see Gene and Samuel lifting Abaddon onto a stretcher and I know it's time to tell him.

He still had the glass of lemonade in his hand but it was now almost empty. He seemed to be enjoying it very much.

Yes, I know Carter Cortezi because his daughter's name is Celeste Astraea Cortezi. If Zacharias is a Cortezi then Celeste is his sister. That doesn't make sense. Celeste doesn't have a brother. Folks!! I missed an updating day! I'm so sorry to do this to you guys, but there will be NO updates the next few days for 'Chase.' I sat down yesterday and looked at the chapters to post, and I just... wasn't happy. In an effort to give you guys the best story possible, I'd like to give it a couple days and rework the ending that is in the pipeline. I don't want to be "that" author that takes a random hiatus, but it is more important to me that I give Rose and Liam the ending they deserve than just post a lackluster ending. Trust me, with the stuff I drafted yesterday, I think you guys will agree.
