“I will come back for you, Dia.” Her lips tipped into a rueful smile. “I’ll wait for you.” *********** Zachary tossed his ripped shirt outside his chambers, snarling at his sentries to fetch him his generals and to ensure he was not to be disturbed by anyone, even if they were a family member. Brooke instantly clutched her heart as Zach cried out in pain. Grant stood off to the side laughing. “That was great! Zaceyes shut understanding he still wants to say one more thing. “Speak,” “Mr. Brook awaits you in Blue whisper,” he hung up and walked out of the building driving without his chauffeur.

The video ended. I stared at the screen. “Genetics,” I muttered. “Of course.” I didn’t know why I was still surprised. Besides the face, Zach had clearly passed down something even more irritating: unreasonable physical endurance. Back in college, he had not just been the handsome man who walked like the room belonged to him. Zach played American football, captained the team, and had the habit of taking hits like his body was made out of bad decisions and Italian steel.
