A LEAP OUT OF THE MIRE

A LEAP OUT OF THE MIRE

I sighed. I lay my baby in her crib. She was fast asleep which was a good thing. I walked to the shelf beside the bed and opened the lower drawer, I collected my books; a chemistry textbook and a jotter to read. I preferred textbooks to school notes because they brought deeper meanings to a subject and exposed various tricks to get your answers. I lay down on the floor with a blanket burying myself in. I managed to find my hands and started attacking organic chemistry.

--- He studied. The reading list was long and he was working through it in order, which his instructor had recommended and which he'd followed because her recommendations had a track record. The flavour chemistry was dense and required his full attention — the way molecules interacted, the way heat changed structure, the way a single degree of temperature could be the difference between something that worked and something that didn't. He took notes in a notebook he'd bought specifically for this purpose, a black Moleskine with a ribbon bookmark, and he wrote small and neat and legibly, the way his mother had taught him.

The Chemistry

The Chemistry

It was quiet here, so colourless. Reaching into the pocket of her down parka, she pulled out a small bottle of pills and looked at it. The directions had said to take no more than six tablets a day. There were fifty in the small plastic bottle. Uncapping it, she spilled the red pills into her palm. 5. 6. 8. 10. And half the bottle. Antihistamines were the strongest drugs she could think to buy over the counter. These looked like the red hots her father liked to buy when he took her to the movies.

There, I climb into bed with it, digging into my sandwich as I simultaneously open my Chemistry book, getting started where I left off this morning. The material is fascinating to me, thank goodness. I mean, I’ve studied chemistry before, but as I work my way through our assigned chapters I realize that this text has been specifically designed for precisely the kind of chemical study that an assassin might need. I frown for a moment but am ultimately unsurprised when I flip to the front of the book, looking for the author’s name. I find it, immediately under the title. Dr. Francis Neumann. I laugh, shaking my head – of course he wrote it, just for us.

Excellent storyline. Ending lacking completion. The last chapter was rushed skipped a year in the timeline. Very disappointing. Same with Julie's story. That said will the other stories be written, Rafe's, Jesse's $ Mark's?

I am really really enjoying this book! Initially, I wasn’t too keen on the double fated mates premise, but as I keep reading it all comes together. I love how exciting the story unfolds. All the characters, the smart funny banter, the friendships, character growth, and story development is awesome!

Feral Attraction

The place was beautiful; rows and rows of shelves reaching up toward golden pendant lights, reading corners with plush chairs, walls lined with student art, the faint sound of a piano instrumental playing overhead. Milo’s voice dropped to a teasing whisper. “Gal Rivera… are you smiling at books?” “Yes,” I said shamelessly. “Judge me.” “Never.” I swatted his arm and wandered off to the Pharmacy section: thick textbooks on organic chemistry, human anatomy, pharmacognosy, and medicinal chemistry. I selected a few essentials: Human Physiology: A Modern Approach, Principles of Pharmacology, and a slim research guide. Milo returned with a stack just as tall, Biochemistry books with intimidating ti

Devon said. Back in the living room, Angela was still admiring the artefacts in the living room. It was also helping to deal with the boredom she was feeling sitting alone in the living room. She walked towards a book shelve and started going through the titles of he books. Her gaze fell on a particular book and she decided to pull it out of the shelves. The books fell to the left covering the space created by the removal of the book. Angela's eyes fell on something hiding behind the books. Her curiosity got the better of her and she picked it up. Her eyes widened seeing it was an artefact. She stared at the artefact with a sense of familiarity. She examined the artefact and read the initial

Christian " According to Hund's Rule, if there are degenerate orbitals available, that is, with the same energy level, initially the electrons occupy the empty orbitals, and then pair up. Don't forget to write this down. Our evaluation is coming up, and I am sure that anyone with a well made notebook will have no problem! “ I took note of everything Ms. Hanh, my general chemistry teacher, said in a nonchalant way. That teacher was slightly strange, so I preferred to always sit in the last row of the class, trying to avoid her noticing me to ask me questions as she used to. I was alternating my attention between the class and the messages that were arriving on my cell phone. Helping Theo Pete

I blinked and smiled awkwardly. Her jaw dropped on the floor as everyone started laughing. "I don't want to waste my precious time on you Ms Rauf. You may sit down." "Thank you, Mrs Gomez." After that she went back to her boring and footless lecture again. In mathematics class, my eyes stay on the blackboard but my mind goes somewhere else and my brain sleeps peacefully. This same thing happens in my chemistry and physics classes. In contrast my brain, my mind and my eyes work incredibly well in other classes especially in biology classes. That's why I had low grades in math, physics and chemistry.

After completing this book, it was so enjoyable. There were actions, romance actions, and romance trials. I have to say this is one of the best books to read. I am waiting for the writer to start a new book.
