"Cater's," She answered laughing slightly the sound mixing with Jason's chuckle. "What do you both want from Carter's?" he asked softly as I relaxed in his loving hold.

The cruise up the coast was an eventful one. Stops along the way were in St. Augustine, Florida, Savanah,Georgia, Charleston, South Carolina and Williamsburg, North Carolina. All were delightful cities full of history. Although they didn't stay very long in any one port, they were able to disembark while the yacht was replenished with fuel and provisions. The last stop before New York was at Virginia Beach, Va. It was just a fuel stop, but the group went out to explore the beach themed bars close to the harbor. It was a roit to indulge in an afternoon spent in day drinking and partying with some of the locals.

Chapter 21 Gael finally pulled up to this cute little cottage nestled in the middle of a smaller body of water. It wasn’t the lake, but it was enough water where there was a little boat that took you to the cottage. This was a smaller inlet, and it was breathtaking. While Phoenix put her shoes back on. Gael got out and sniffed the area and mindlinked his father, updating him on the attack and telling them their location. His father told him they would take care of the rogues and get to the bottom of the issue. His mother came onto the mindlink telling him she’d stocked the cottage and brought some things for Phoenix to wear while there.

Uncle Peter told me something that made my legs go numb. The meeting that was about to happen was to discuss the future launch of a Five star hotel in our town. Uncle Peter was to join the meeting and be a part of this discussion as the representative along with our Mayor Mr Paterson. He was worried that the future of his resort was in danger and so was the nature and landscape of our town. He wanted me to accompany him as his companion to represent his side of the things in the meeting.

She replied with a smile as she watched Philip leave the studio to answer a call. Dana had settled well in California within the short period that they had arrived. She turned on the T.V and watched the crisis going on in America and then it got to a certain point where she heard about the CRUZ company, owned by Maria and Manuel Cruz. The company was accused of plagiarism and infringement.

Andreas' lips curled in a smirk as his brows dipped, "When did you power bomb me? When you were begging or hiding behind the couch?" Eleanor's mouth fell open right before her eyes narrowed as she shook her head, "That's low. Even for you. I'll get you back for this." He chuckled and looked her over. "Want breakfast?" She gasped in pleasant remembrance, jolting into a sitting position. "There are other ways into Lake Creek right? Safer roads?" Andreas nodded.

ODETTE My shaky, numb fingers didn't feel the condensation that had built on the chilled glass of lemonade. I couldn't feel the smooth surface of the glass itself or the amount of pressure I was using to grip it. However, I could see that it wasn't much, and—no matter how much I tried—I couldn't get a firmer hold on it.

These waters meet each other about twenty-five miles to the south. Ashleigh rented the boat at Bradley Creek which flows due east and dumps into the Intracoastal Waterway right behind the barrier island that is home to Wrightsville Beach. From there you could take the waterway north or south, or go into Wrightsville Beach. I didn’t think she would have gone to Wrightsville Beach unless she had someone meeting her, and if someone was going to meet her, why not meet them somewhere she wouldn’t need a boat? Besides, to leave Wrightsville Beach by car, she would have come right back through Wilmington. My guess was that Ashleigh was on her own and headed either north or south.
