I said as I grabbed him by the collar and stood up with him. "Whoa man, chill out" he said as he raised his hands in surrender, "I was just fucking witchu" he explained with a smile. "Man, you think this is funny? Huh? I'm so gonna......" I paused in shock as something caught my attention. On his left arm, there was a dragon tattoo with a crown on it. I recognized that tattoo. "I've seen this somewhere.." I thought as my memory jogged itself. "Do I know you?" I asked him, this time gripping his collar even more tightly.

He raised his right hand. Black fire raced across the back of his hand, ink twisting into a dragon unlike any I had ever seen. Its wings unfurled across his knuckles, its claws hooked deep into his flesh, and its eyes burned with a darkness that drank the surrounding light. The living mark writhed beneath his skin as though the creature were trying to claw its way free. Pain exploded through my wrist. A gasp escaped me as the Dragon Mark beneath my sleeve ignited. Crimson light burst through the fabric, bright enough to stain the chamber scarlet.

He cursed as he groggily stood up from his bed, throwing the blanket partly on the bed and the other part on the floor. He spreads his hands apart, stretching his body as his bones cracks up.
