Cherry's POV... Fucking Jolene! The woman was a damn scorpion and she had the ability to stick her stinger into anyone, corrupting them with her infectious venom so she could manipulate their actions. I would have thought that a viper like Cookie would be immune to my mother's charms, but seeing as they were all smiles, sharing booze and an almost empty pack of cigarettes, she had also fallen prey, just like everyone else. They could both see the confusion in my eyes, because for the sake of me, I couldn't even begin to imagine what circumstances would bring Jolene and Cookie together, and in my house of all places. I needed answers, and I needed them fast.

Roger's wife had a stain on her past. Roger, timid by nature but deeply devoted to her, must have assumed she killed Edmund. Out of love, he hadn't questioned her at all. He simply decided to take the blame in her place.

All I could think of was the memory of the white cloth being pulled over Marie's lifeless body. I never thought Gigi would be the culprit who killed Marie. I couldn't stop myself from lunging at Gigi and choking her. "Annette! Have you lost your mind?" Zachary roared. He grabbed my arm and threw me aside, making me fall onto the ground.

Chris stated his observation. I was surprised when Dave approached me and whispered, "So, who do you think did it?" He watched the suspects and then looked at me again. "If you've been watching them earlier, I'm sure you already have a suspect who the murderer is." I remembered the events earlier. Cherry ordered the cake which the three of them tasted except Kelly. There was no poison in it because they were still alive today. But Cherry followed the Barista to get Kelly's coffee replacement. There was a possibility that she poisoned the cup as she approached their table. That makes her as my first suspect.

Cooke patted me. "Don't worry, you'll finally see the wickedness in the outside world, and don't forget, Michael remains the killer, and that's if you want your uncle Ambrose to live." Mrs. Cooke's words were deeply rooted in my mind, but then, I couldn't stop seeing the blurry image of the tall, handsome gentleman who had baked cookies with me. Somehow, I felt they were fragments of my lost memories. Somehow, I began to think the cinnamon was never good for my health. And then, what if Michael had killed the love of my life? I say, looking back at Asher, causing his eyebrows to furrow slightly. "Really? I didn't feel like it" He says, putting the chip in his mouth before taking another chip from the packet and moving it to my lips. He keeps on feeding me like that and I keep on taking smaller bites, letting him eat a larger portion of the chips. When the movie reaches the climax, the killer isn't anyone we had predicted. It was a man who lived in the same flat as the murdered girl. So neither Asher nor Aaron wins the bet and I don't lose my 1000$.

The doctor Answered. "It wasn't me." All the maids said shaking their heads. May turned to Amby angrily. Amby was staring at the ground. "How could you do that to me? If you were so jealous of me, you could have said it, but trying to kill that one thing that you couldn't give the Alpha for years! How cruel are you!" May shouted. "What...what are you talking about?" Amby asked confused. May gets up from the bed holding her stomach. "What I was saying was that you were the last person that touched the cookies, and the only person who hated my existence. You poisoned the cookies Amby!" May ranted.

Christine, saved by timely medical intervention, survived. She testified that eight years ago, Mary had coerced her into making an almond tart laced with poison to trick Xavier into eating it. Xavier, suspicious after just one bite, refused to eat any more. However, Mary, utterly ruthless, forced Christine to hold Xavier down and shove the tart into his mouth. The final verdict came down. Mary was sentenced to death with a two-year reprieve for one count of murder and one count of attempted murder. Christine received a ten-year prison sentence for her role as an accomplice.

I lost my smirk when her lips twisted in disgust and her body shudder with revulsion. 'Acid with cherry on top and make that to go!' She squealed. I sighed and rolled my eyes back to the screen.
