Choice And Chance Dramione Novels & Stories

What I could see was everyone I’d ever cared about and the way they had died. It showed my grandmother sick in her bed. Duchess Christine in the end days of the Scorage. Duey being strangled. Then there were the others: Catherine being stabbed in battle. Aryk being hanged from a tree. Rose dying in a prison cell. Abby… Abby dead in her bed, still very much pregnant. “No,” I whispered. Then louder, “No!” Finally, I shouted, “NO! THIS ISN’T HOW IT ENDS!” “Oh, but it is,” a voice said from behind. Duey, and I spun around to see a beautiful woman standing in the middle of the room. “It’s been correct so far,” she came closer to us. “Right, Dupont?”

Fleki looked around everybody still holding the flame stick and the flame was still pointing at one direction and that is where Edward was still standing. “great great people of the moon community , we all have seen with our own eyes the choice of the flame stick and destiny can never be changed” everyone started mumering and wondering what had gotten over him. “Silence! The choice has already been made, who are you to defy the choice of our ancient wolves, they know better and they have the all seeing eye, every choice they make means they have …” “Stop it Fleki, are you out of your goddam mind you coward, how can you make such an irresponsible decision” one of the old wolves that were sitt

Impala snarls. Jacklyn sighs, “Honestly, Max, if you just hand her over, less of our people will die you know. All these deaths are on her.” “They’re not on me!” I shout. “You’re the one who brought these monsters here!” “And they’ll leave once they have you,” Jacklyn smiles, unbothered. “They’ll even spare the children. Maybe take them as slaves. It’ll be a kindness. But only if Max gives you up. The choice is yours Max.”

she said softly. “And you turned it into power,” Adrian replied. “No,” she corrected. “I turned it into choice.” Silence fell heavily between them. Adrian’s eyes darkened slightly. “You think that man beside you understands what you are?” Dante stepped closer to her. “I don’t need to understand her,” he said calmly. “I stand with her.” Adrian studied them both. “You will have to choose eventually,” he told Aruna. “Between blood and love.” She did not hesitate.

There was something else there. “You don’t have much time. Choose wisely.” My pulse quickened. This was it. This was the chance I came here for. If Damon really could help me reach the Council… then, this dance wasn’t just a dance. It was an opportunity. Maybe the only one I would get. Raven’s hand was still tight around my wrist. Damon’s hand was still waiting in front of me. I took a breath then another. A decision was made. Slowly, I pulled my wrist out of Raven’s grip. I lifted my hand and placed it in Damon’s palm. The moment our skin touched, warmth spread up my arm, surprising me.

Magda laughed, and the sound of her laughter was particularly eerie in the stillness of the night. “In my opinion, they are a part of you, one is the woman you've been protecting for years, and in the future you'll need the help of the forces behind her, and the other is the love of your life that you were trying to hide from me, and I'm curious to know which one you'll choose when you can only choose one person and give the other to me?" Damon’s fingers squeezed tight. The veins on his arms rippled, "I won’t choose."

A pause. “But it gives them a chance to choose it themselves.” That Was the difference. Hale exhaled slowly. “…and when they choose wrong?” Damon didn’t look away. “They will.” A beat. “But that’s not your decision to make.” Silence. Long. Heavy. Because there it was. The final divide. Control. Or choice. Hale looked at Elara. “You created this flaw,” he said. Elara didn’t deny it. “I created possibility.” A pause.

“But you still have a chance to prove you are not a complete disappointment.” Damon steps closer. “What do you want.” His father presses a button and the camera zooms in on Damon’s brother as a device flashes above him. A countdown appears. 00:04:57 “I want you to choose” his father says. “Save him. Or save her.” I freeze because I feel Damon’s breath catch in his chest. He looks at the screen then he turns to me and I see something break in his eyes. Not fear. Not weakness. A choice he never wanted to face.

Fuck! This is the last thing we need. This is NOT how things are supposed to go; it was not in Cynthia's plan. The room cascades into angry whispers as Damon and Elle dance around the floor, confirming the rumors of Elle being a born Luna. Or that Damon is planning on taking her as his chosen before she has the "chance" to find her true mate. Either way, it's not fucking good and complicates things more than needed.

Ava’s Next Move Ava scrolled through her phone, watching the live security feed. Claire. Standing frozen by the door. Adrian. Trapping her with nothing but his presence. Damon arched a brow. "She’s not running." Ava smirked. "Of course not." She set her drink down, stretching lazily. "I gave her a choice." Damon exhaled. "And?" Ava’s lips curled. "She’s realizing she never really had one." Her eyes gleamed.
