He picked up his tie and frowned looking at the one hundred dollar note. He saw something written on it. Christian sat down on the bed and started reading. His eyes went red by the time he finished reading. He fisted his hand in anger. Her words kept playing in his mind like a broken radio

He did not want to sleep now so he decided to read a novel to divert his mind from Samson's topic. He decided to read it in the living room, on the couch. So he lay down comfortably reading the book while the weather outside was not good at all. "I hope Samson will have reached his destination by now, otherwise, it would be difficult for him to drive all the way in this bad weather.",Christian thought in his mind while reading the novel. "Wow! Even reading my favorite novel did not help me to stop thinking about him. I really don't know how

"You need to read this." She pushed the journal toward him, her hands visibly shaking. Christian hesitated only for a second before picking it up. He flipped through the first few pages, his brows furrowing as he skimmed through the words. As he read, his expression darkened. Minutes passed, the only sound in the room the quiet rustling of pages. Then, with a sharp exhale, Christian slammed the journal shut. His jaw tightened, his grip so firm that his knuckles turned white.

Spending those days with him in that yacht wasn’t something that I had planned out, but it was all his doing and now he thinks that he could just dump me.
