Elizabeth’s POV I had finally reached out to Christian through one of his ever-faithful workers, the same ones he kept sending to deliver gifts I hadn’t asked for. A few days ago, he sent me fifty pre-release books. Romance novels, of course. Top-notch titles that weren’t supposed to hit shelves for months, yet somehow Christian had gotten them early. I’d binged through almost every single one. They gave me a peace I hadn’t felt in weeks, curling up in their stories, forgetting my own. But what unsettled me more was how he knew exactly the kind of books I loved. That man noticed everything, even the details I thought no one else did.

It's lust?

It's lust?

a long time, Christian put her to sleep in the room and left. he was also angry with himself and even if he did not let her go that day, then she would not have an accident with her and if she did not insist on going alone, she would not get into such trouble. Fighting the war of mind and heart, Christian went to the study room and sat down to read the book. Just wanted to calm himself down in some way. He could not understand. What to do? On the other hand, Roose was getting the nightmare of the same accident gradually due to drug addiction. Slowly, Christian got an eye because of reading the book. The study room was completely immersed in darkness. Only a small light illuminated t

Creatures of THE Night

Creatures of THE Night

"Hello! Welcome in!" I stood in the doorway, looking around the store, stacks, and bookshelves everywhere. Much bigger on the inside. "Hi," I replied, stepping in and letting the door close behind me. It smelled like moldy pages and old dust. The familiarity of it settled my shoulders. "Are you looking for something?" I gulped. "Do you have anything on Christian theology?" The eager older woman nodded, "I sure do. A whole section in the back." She scurried behind the desk and waved an arm to show me to the section. "You look like a college girl. Is it for a research paper?"

Claimed by my ex husband’s uncle

Claimed by my ex husband’s uncle

About what it is to be the daughter of a man who trusted the truth more than he trusted his own safety. The book is reviewed in three national publications in the week of its release. Two of the reviews are the kind that a first-time author does not anticipate receiving — serious and specific and written by people who have read it rather than read about it. The third review is in a financial publication and is largely concerned with the Blackwood Holdings story as a corporate narrative, which is not the book I wrote. I read it with the equanimity of someone who has learned that not every reader is your reader and that this does not diminish the ones who are.

Crossing The Line

Crossing The Line

The book club ladies were in fine form this afternoon. Margaret Thompson sat primly on the floral couch in a rented out space close to the library, a half-empty teacup balanced on her knee, her Bible study notes open on the coffee table. The conversation had started with the latest Christian fiction novel — something about redemption and resisting temptation — but it had drifted, as it always did, into more personal territory. Gossip dressed up as prayer requests. “Speaking of temptation,” one of the women said, lowering her voice with dramatic concern, “have you heard what’s going around about that poor Thompson boy?”

Alpha Daryl

Alpha Daryl

His eyebrows knit together as he frowns at me “Don’t call me stupid” “You don’t see it do you. Breydon knew I marked you, made you my equal. They are trying to take you down because they don’t want you to take….” I drift off, recognising the open book on the table, the one Maddox had written about me “Why are you looking at that?” Christian follows the direction I am looking in “It is quite useful actually” “How is a book about me useful?” moving around the desk to look at it, the pages are open to ones I hadn’t read, it was literally like a diary account of me growing up but Christian snatches it away from me before I had a chance to read anything other than dates.

I binged this story in a couple of days, still hooked! Yes there are some grammatical errors but the plot shines through.. still a few unanswered questions, hoping they’re addressed in the next chapters
