All we wanted was to be Jacob and Sadie and be free. I found a woman by the name of Doctor Riley Kim. She is a well-known Psychiatrist here in Baker with a hell of a reputation. She is also very expensive and hard to see. I got an appointment for Sadie and me two weeks after Sadie turns eighteen. We hoped she would work with us once we told her our situation. We needed her to see Sadie as a mentally healthy woman. We needed her to see how wrong Sadies reports were. The only thing we worried about was how the doctor could get ahold of Sadies records without giving our location away. It wasn't going to be easy, but we had to try something.

She wandered along houses, shops, saloons, marketplace, barns and the church but no one knew of an apothecary named Feucher. Eventually, she stopped looking when she felt famished. Fortunately, Margarette gave her money which she borrowed from the grumpy Finrod before they parted. The bills were bigger than the one they had back at Dela Paz. But as I scrolled through my news feed, another headline caught my eye, one that had nothing to do with our celebration. “Alpha Aaron Moonstone Spotted with Mystery Woman, Luna Shantel Nowhere in Sight” My heart rate picked up with anticipation as I clicked on the article, and sure enough, there were photos of Aaron stumbling in of what looked like a hotel with a woman who definitely wasn’t Shantel. The images were grainy took in the dark but clear enough to identify the woman as Christine, his secretary, both of them looking disheveled in a way that left little doubt about what they’d been doing.

I make a mental note to corner her later and force it out of her. "C'mon in ladies," Christine welcomes us with a smile on her face. Christine is the wife of Travis Steele, the communications/IT expert for Heaven Hill, and the sister of Jagger. She's about as deep into Heaven Hill as you can get without being born into the fold. Not only is she an awesome person though and through, but she also does amazing hair, and lately she's been taking chances with hers. I knew the minute she hears Hank’s name, her lid will blow off. I don’t know why, but Elizabeth and Danika really hated Hank. If he ever goes missing, the cops are going to knock on their doors first.

I’ve got the photos!” Xena crossed her arms in front of her chest, her gaze at Fane was filled with disgust. “If you were a billionaire, it would make you seem capable when you see other women.
