Cinderella's Pet Palace Novels & Stories

I dont know whether our ancestors were inspired by Disney or Disney was inspired by us but the mansion is something cinderella ran off losing her shoes, or where every evil stepmother cahoots a plan to kill the daughter of the house. All white, with Prussian blue whatever that is called at the top the palace is no less than a living epitome of cruelty itself. I climb off the car entering the mansion. Lucius only minutes behind my arrival. We enter, finding our mother lying in Luna’s casket. Her skin refulgent, like the shards of the sun. Her hands securely placed over her stomach, cradling the surface too carefully. “She was pregnant”, Aunt Marie chimes placing a hand over my back.

I look at her with an eyebrow raised and she looks at me with confusion across her face, “This whole room is… mine?” I nod as I chuckle, “Yeah, it is. What’s wrong with it?” She shakes her head and her mouth opens and closes as she tries to form her words. She finally says, “It’s just so… so… big!” I laugh, “Yeah, it’s fit for a queen and that’s what you deserve.” Eda shakes her head, “No, no, I don’t. I’m nothing, Peelle. I don’t deserve anything like this.”

He said, bringing the car to a halt. It looked like farmhouse from what I could tell. I got out when Ethan opened the door for me and confirmed what I’d seen. From what I could see in the dim light of the setting sun, this was a farmhouse. A bit small but it was gorgeous. Various kinds of flowers lined the driveway and there was even a huge vegetable garden and a small fountain. And with Christmas right around the corner, the whole place was decorated with tiny fairy lights. At least I thought this was for Christmas. “Let’s go in, shall we?”

The whole apartment was now full of new furniture, and the interior design was changed to another style ---- pink and shallow. As Ann entered the apartment, the atmosphere instantly changed. It became heavy and dangerous. Joe, Beth, Vivian, and Alan were waiting for her in the living room. The apartment Ann once knew to be her safe space was now filled with predators. Ann was supposed to feel nostalgic meeting them all together, but now, she just felt strange and annoyed. Vivian became much prettier. Her hair was shining, her skin was glowing, and there was not a speck of impurities on her face. She was in a light blue fancy dress with pink flowers on it. She looked like a real celebrity.

Liam then suggested as we entered the makeshift dance floor near the fire pit. I muttered mysteriously to him, “Well, there's not much to tell," and I let that idea vague, but actually there wasn't much to be told at all, as Olivia Mason didn't have much of a story, not even made-up stories.
