I stared at it, stunned. “What? A bunny costume?” I asked, holding up the skimpy piece in disbelief. “Yes. You don’t like it?” Lila asked, tilting her head with mock innocence. “Well… it’s uhm… not really my kind of style.”

Paranormal section, Scary Bride section, Supernatural Creature section, Harry Potter section, and many more. I looked toward the Harry Potter section. There was a dementor costume hanging on it. It looked deadly scary. "Oh my god!" she squealed beside me. "Look at this banana costume! I'm buying it." She jumped up and down, clutching onto the banana costume like a mad woman and I laughed at her selection.

There was Pinocchio with a fake nose, Link in a cheap costume, Mickey Mouse in a full-body suit, an actual clown, and a ghost who’d just cut two holes in a white sheet. And then there were the zombies—by far the most common—with pale faces, red scars, and blackened teeth.

It was perfect, after all. I glanced at my friend and brother. “Still planning on Link and Zelda?” I asked. Kam smirked. “Yup. The costumes should get here tomorrow. Did you order yours yet?” I nodded. I was going as Christine from Phantom of the Opera. My dress was red, white, and gorgeous! It even had a drawstring front to resemble the eighteenth century European style. I also ordered matching white heels. They wouldn’t be totally authentic, but it was for a high school dance. The mask was my favorite part. Part of me wanted to go with a full Venetian mask, but I ended up choosing one that was made of red lace, and tied with a red ribbon. I totally wasn’t excited to wear it. Nope!
