I stumbled back and instinctively shook my head. "No..."
Circe's fake smile vanished instantly, and she waved to the other she-wolves. "Grab her."
I was still in heat, and I didn't have the strength to fight against them.
One she-wolf pressed me by the shoulders, while another tall, dark-haired she-wolf leaned in close.
"Sweetheart, drink it and we'll let you go," she whispered.
Circe stepped forward with the cup in hand. "Elara, maybe you've never heard my name, but that doesn't matter. Everyone calls me Circe, the one who leaves no lie unexposed. Do you know why?"
