Fated V Third Person’s POV In the capital city of Artemia Kingdom, the royal palace that houses the royal Ark clan is currently in a state of tension and chaos. The servants and royal guards of the palace felt troubled and frightened as they tried hard to quietly move around the palace without attracting the attention of their ruler. After the crown prince and the delegation that participated in the Moon view competition arrived, their monarch has already been in a bad mood, but everything snowballed after the crown prince was reported to have left the city without the king’s permission.

“W* hooo! Looks like this meat is ready! Prepare your tastebuds for the time of their lives.” I’d never seen anyone get so excited about barbecued meat, but he was Australian, so it didn’t seem so strange. Sonny picked up the meat from his barbecue and passed them to us. They all quickly disappeared down our throats. “So, the general set up in this world is pretty straightforward. I mean, I can’t tell you why we’re here or how we got here in the first place, but I can tell you what you can expect to find in the city. There’s four main cities in all, each one has a royal family, and a ruler. These royals are all descended from the First Visitors who arrived over a hundred years ago.”

The sun began to set as the royal family of Yandar arrived in the magnificent Crown City. Towering spires and glistening white marble buildings stretched towards the sky, reflecting the warm hues of the evening sky. The bustling atmosphere filled the streets, as people hurried about their daily lives. Kira could note how different the city looked from what she remembered years ago. Perhaps it was because she hadn't been privileged to explore the city more, instead, she was trapped in the palace with Elena

Nicholas holds my hand as we exit. We drive around the city for the following hours and stop at occasional places to explore. The air is in my hair, and I feel so free; I couldn't be more content. I must admit, the royal city is a wonder to the eyes. It sits at absolute magnificence and power. The buildings are modern and elegant, and most are made of glass. It is a show of wealth; I can't imagine any city matching its beauty. "Where is this place?" I ask as Nicholas pulls the car to a stop. We are almost on the city's outskirts, on an open, less busy road. Nicholas gets out of the vehicle and moves around to my side, opening the door. I take his hand and step out.

All the different buildings, the colour, I couldn’t see individual people but I could see movement and signs of life in the streets. But beyond that was something I never thought I would see in my entire life. The ocean. I had forgotten that the Royal city was costal and although it looks like the city spills out endlessly left and right it ends just short of a strip of white and then the beautiful crystalline blue waters of the Valeric ocean. I spin back around to see my brothers. I realise I must look like a small child right now, my eyes are wide with amazement and both hands are over my mouth in surprise.

The Royal Palace was located in the center portion of the Grand City, with the Royal clan residing there. There was a large cliff on the Southern edge of the Grand City. It was called the 'Heavenly cliff'. Its ravine was so deep that no one could even see the end of it. No one knew why there was such a scary cliff South of Grand City, but they only knew that it had existed even before the Weng kingdom was established there. Although no one could see how deep it was, one could only imagine by looking at the darkness at the bottom that it was scarily deep. It was assumed that it was more than a few kilometers deep. No one knew what was at the end of it.

However, the King of Aspen, the Emperor of the North and his entire family were suddenly infected with a deadly disease. There is only one way for them to treat themselves which is by drinking human blood. Within half a week, the entire population of the north, east and south had been wiped out. Oh, half of them. The other half were infected with the same disease after they were bitten by the emperor’s family, now called, Royal Vampires. They were shocked when they realized that they had gained extra power when they woke up from their violence at night. They can hear everything out loud. For example, the human heartbeat.

The chained gift bag dangled from Roy's hand as he skimmed the place—occasionally looking at the entryway for any sign of Jeremy. Snowfall was very rare in their country except for sometimes the northern provinces that got mild snowfall. But the temperature almost caught up to extreme coldness. December wasn't much colder—the cold came in January. Roy was used with less clothing even in such weather. What actually worried him was if Jeremy can handle the wind. As Roy waited for Jeremy, the sky darkened and the lights from inside the south gates of the mall, illuminated the pavement.
