The angel’s glow dimmed slightly as its expression turned serious. “I don’t like that face,” Deja said, sitting up. “That’s your ‘Girl there’s a problem’ face. What now? “That’s why I’m here. There’s been a... complication.” Deja narrowed her eyes. “What kind of complication? Because if this is about that time I ordered three milkshakes and blamed it on the dog, that was survival, not gluttony.” “The timeline is destabilizing,” the angel said gravely. “The what is doing the who now?”

I begin to exclaim when Eros's words suddenly replay in my mind. Far from, darling. Just wait and see. "Fuck my life... that son of a bitch was right. It was real." I state, feeling as though a bucket of cold water has been thrown over me. "I'm guessing your referring to meeting with the Gods who marked you?" he asks, and I nod my head. "Yes, it's very real. Greek gods and angels are both real. Us angels, are descendants from the Greek Gods themselves. Here to aid them when they please." he begins to explain.

So went back to the museum and back to the clock.” Angela smiled, “You felt the pull.” Jenna looked at her confused, “The pull?” she asked. Angela nodded, “Angelo is the clock’s keeper, but the clock itself pulls to those who want to change their destiny, and then Angelo can decide if he feels they are worthy.”

I say, trying to get up and go. “Does this have anything to do with them creeping around Blood Claw yesterday,” Angel asks, folding her hands in front of herself. I look away, irritated that she knew. But she was a Shadow for a long time before joining the council and little got past her. She wouldn't be doing her job if she didn't have her hand on every little thing. When I didn’t answer she decided to explain herself. “Even though Blood Claw was left to rot for the most part, I have wards on it, I know immediately if anyone tries to step foot on the property,” she says, as if it should have been obvious. I hide my frown.

He continued to lick me as I tried to ride it out. He came up, claiming my lips, allowing me to taste my own juices. "I love you, Maria." I layed my head against his chest, running my fingers across his tattoo as he rubbed his fingers across mine. " I'm an Archangel.. Wife of the Reaper...I'll fight beside you...you don't have to do this alone." He nodded and kissed my forehead, wrapping a piece of my hair around his finger. I fell asleep, in his arms.

Soon, they would expel me from the territory. As I stood watching the twins sleep, the door suddenly creaked open. I turned quickly and my eyes widened slightly at the unfamiliar presence that entered. Beside him stood Alpha Zarkus, his face expressionless, his eyes fixed coldly on me. But my focus turned to the strange man at his side. He wore a long, black hooded cloak, and in his hand was a wooden staff topped with a round, black crystal. His presence exuded ominously. “Angelicca,” Alpha Zarkus spoke. “I know that even if I banish you, you’ll find a way to return... to take back my sons. So I’ve prepared this, to make sure that never happens. This is my final punishment for you.”

The intensity of her angelic radiance intensified with each passing moment, pushing back the encroaching shadows. As their combined efforts grew stronger, Shadowmaster's malevolence waned. He was no match for the unity and determination of the team, fueled by Claire's newfound angelic strength. In a final surge of light, the darkness was banished, and Shadowmaster's power shattered like a fragile illusion. Breathing heavily, the team stood triumphant, their gazes fixed upon Claire, their leader and beacon of light. Her transformation into an angelic force had not only saved her from the clutches of Shadowmaster but had also illuminated the path of hope for all.
