Cloud Strife Mga Nobela at Kwento

“Tell me, have you attended Professor Draven’s combat class yet?” I groan. “Unfortunately.” Professor Starling laughs. I smile despite myself. For a while, we simply walk. The academy slowly waking around us. Students gathering and bondeds stretching. The smell of breakfast drifting through the air. Gods, the place almost feels normal. Then a massive shadow passes overhead. I look up. A gryphon. Its rider laughing as they dive through the clouds. Further away, an Ironclad dragon releases a thunderous roar that shakes the ground beneath my feet. Students barely react.

Territories that once knew uneasy peace are now consumed by war without restraint. Wolves fight like they are trying to outrun extinction itself. Cities burn in the distance, their smoke rising in thick spirals that twist unnaturally beneath the blood-red sky. Supply lines collapse. Alliances fracture mid-breath. Even commanders who have survived countless wars pause now—not from hesitation, but from recognition that something fundamental has shifted beyond their control. This is no longer conflict between packs. It is collapse. At the edge of it all, Aria stands on a jagged cliff.

He knocked into Ariel on his way past and didn't even notice. Heavy with pregnancy, Ariel lost her balance. She stumbled backward and hit the ground hard. The pain made her vision go dark. She tried to get up but couldn't find the strength. He'd had enough? She'd had enough too. The other men saw her fall but didn't move to help. Instead, they blamed her. "Women and their jealousy." "The Commander never should have begged her to come back three years ago if it was going to end up like this." "Do you think he regrets it now? Not that he can do anything about it. She's eight months along. What's he supposed to do, make her get rid of it?"

The storm had not stopped for three days. Lightning clawed across the sky like the world itself was tearing open. The moon hung above the horizon, fractured with deep silver cracks that bled pale light into the darkness. Seraphine stood alone on the cliff overlooking the ruined valley. Wind whipped her hair across her face, but she didn’t move. Below, thousands of wolves, witches, and other creatures prepared for war. Fires burned across the plains. Weapons were forged. Old alliances were reborn out of desperation.

The storm did not end when the silver wolf left me. It only grew louder. Lightning tore across the sky in jagged white veins, and thunder rolled through the valley like the roar of ancient gods awakened from sleep. The battlefield smelled of wet earth, blood, and something else now… something sharp and electric that clung to the air like the aftermath of a divine strike. I knelt in the mud, barely able to steady my breathing. Across the clearing, Clay stood at the centre of the storm.

“Because the real storm… is coming. And we will face it together.” Clara smiled, shivering in both exhaustion and anticipation. Whatever came next, she knew they would meet it as one — fire and storm, tethered and unstoppable.

CHAPTER TWENTY – “Dragon’s Mark” Smoke rolled across Firespire Cliff like a low-lying storm, thick enough to sting Rowan’s eyes. The war had ended hours ago, but Arcadia still burned in places—bright sparks against the ruined horizon. She stood at the cliff’s edge, the wind tugging at her hair, the last of her blue flames fading slowly from her palms.

The sky above Silver Claw darkened unnaturally as storm clouds churned like something alive. The winds carried the scent of blood, fire, and magic-heavy, suffocating, electric. It was not nature. It was war. Inside the courtyard, every soldier of the allied realms stood ready—Moon Valley, Snow Valley, Vampire Kingdom, and Silver Claw wolves shoulder-to-shoulder as one massive army once again. Their armor glinted under torchlight. Their wolves paced behind their eyes like caged beasts waiting to be unleashed.

Nora stood atop the jagged cliffs of Halethorne. The wind tugged at her long cloak as dark clouds rolled overhead, mirroring the chaos that churned inside her. Below her, the land was painted red and black—smoke rising from small villages that had been foolish enough to stand in her way. Her army was gathering.

The air in the valley tasted like ozone and crushed pine needles. High above us, heavy grey storm clouds rolled across the sky, swallowing the last slivers of afternoon light. Hundreds of our warriors stood in silence behind the ridge, leather armors creaking, weapons held tight in gloved hands. Across the grassy floor of the ravine, Kael’s massive front line was waiting. His black banners snapped in the cold mountain wind. This was it. The final charge was only minutes away.
