Dragon Heart Novels & Stories

I think he's seen this before. Drake was determined to make sure, before June realized he was seeing all this. With his dragon eye, Drake traced every inch of June's skin that he could see and to Drake's surprise, when he saw the dragon mark hidden in the skin on June's back. It was a sign formed when a woman had slept with a dragon. And that mark, is not a sign of carelessness, it is a mark of the Dragon King. Drake widened his eyes. If that was the case, could it really be that Drake had slept with June before? Drake slept with many women during his life, he found it difficult to remember one by one.

"I want you to tell me the story of the dragons again. I know it's a legend now, but I like to call it a story." I see her smiling. "It has been years since you asked me for it," she states. "I thought I grew up enough for stories." "And now what has changed?" "I have started to forget it, and I want to refresh it in my memory again. There is a point that I have entirely forgotten, and I want to recover it ". "Fine then. Here it comes. Many years ago, dragons discovered the supreme good that the Earth could offer to any of its creatures. A red gem, which the king of dragons named "The Heart of Magic" because of its shape, resembled a heart.

Then, my Sisters in the priesthood filed away, none of them looking back to me. I took a deep breath, and knelt before the mouth of the dragon's cavern, arranging some of the treasure around my legs. He had to accept the entire sacrifice, or his fury would consume the people. He was a dangerous Master, but when he was pleased, the island of Drachonia (even the island's name sang His praises!) flourished.

He was raven haired, had piecing black eyes and was dressed in all black. Normally, seeing someone dressed in all black would give me chills especially because I had a bad history with black. This time, I didn't hear my blood roaring in my ears. The guy looked desperate. Not desperately in need of money, but answers. His dark eyes held secrets, unsolved mysteries and something darker. Something dangerously attractive. Like fire. "What do you want?" "I.. I'm in search of someone but I've got no leads on them. Can you help me?" first rule a girl learns is that,

“You are the Commander, but you cannot command destiny. You cannot touch her because your aura will crush her. You cannot reject her because the bond will kill you both. You are trapped, Draven. We are looking at a living nightmare.” I closed my eyes, forcing Karl’s furious roars into a corner of my mind. We've heard stories of dragons tearing themselves apart because they could not survive the loss. True mates were rare precisely because the bond was merciless. It gave everything or destroyed everything. “Then she stays ignorant. I stay away and pray to the Creator that the world never finds out what she is to me.”

Unease skittered down my spine. Zoya guided me forward. "The bond magic responds best when both counterparts are willing. You want your dragon returned, yes?" I shook my head mutely, but she ignored me. Upon the altar sat a large gemstone, dull and dark. Fear gripped me as I recognized it - Scar's dragon heart. The organ that bound his human and draconic natures. The very one I stole months ago from that abandoned mansion. "Use the heart to summon your dragon back to you," Zoya purred in my ear. Fox and the others watched intently. "Reach out with all the passion you harbor. He will come."

Amidst a wave of exclamations, Drake, who was located in a private room not far from Severin's, dressed in a bright yellow robe embroidered with golden dragons and clouds, looked at the Bianca Grass on the stage and his eyes lit up. "I didn't expect Eastern Sea City to have a ninth-grade herb!" Ninth-grade herbs were hard to come by, and countless supreme paragons would be willing to break their heads over them. Even with the Dragonoid's wealth spanning the Four Seas and its profound heritage, there weren't many ninth-grade spiritual herbs in their treasury.

But what I found waiting for me at the gate wasn't half as bad as I thought. Three men stood at the gate, covered from head to toe in a black material I had never seen before. There was a dull sheen to the armour, almost opalescent. A small dragon was embroidered onto the breast of the armour. Only indication that these men were trained killers and not just any men sent by their king. Word had started spreading amongst the Loyalists a few years ago that the Draco Venandi had risen once more. Father had said he would handle them when the time came. Preparations on behalf of Elliana and her safety had been made anyway. I was a princess, but the only humans who knew were the Loyalists and Hadeo

The one my mother told about in the story. Seeing the diamond graffiti written in dark red liquid on its temple, I know it was that dragon. The vetrik Jihn drakon. Its chest began to appear red as if the beast swallowed tons of coals on its throat. Its eyes glowed dark while its huge snout began to open in what seemed to be prepared to release something.

Kaelin tried next (arrow of pure winterbloom straight at his heart). It melted mid-air. Rhea threw a vial of dragon’s blood (last one in the kingdom). Caedrin caught it, drank it, and smiled with teeth made of starlight. “Your resistance is delicious,” he purred. “But the harvest is almost complete. In moments I will wear their bond like a crown, and every wolf on this continent will kneel or burn.” Serna spat blood, pushed up on shaking arms. “You forgot one thing, you ancient prick.”
