Chapter60 "You damn crocodile," Aluna Welas screamed in her heart, while glaring disapprovingly at Angela and William. Sure enough, the annoying man drove Aluna Welas to the front of the Grand Sakura hotel. All the employees gathered in front of the hotel and bowed respectfully, making Angela chuckle in admiration for William, who was so influential. "Not bad! Even this man in my eyes is not Jeremy Mose, but William Alexander," Angela muttered to herself. Seeing Angela's admiring gaze at William, Aluna Welas was not happy.

He said though gritted teeth and I shivered. "I intend to keep that promise." I growl, looking at the lock. “What?” “Look away or I will make you.” She huffs turning around as I input the code. The basement which used to be a torture room is now a medical room. It has machines and all sorts of supplies Maya will need to save my eyesight. “Can I look now?” Maya asks, her voice tight with annoyance. “Yeah.” Her eyes pry open and she looks at the room, child-like wonder swims in her eyes as she looks through the machines. She wiggles her arm and this time I let her go free.

Snap! The man’s neck made a 360-degree spin. His life left him on the spot. Koda’s eyes nearly fell out of its sockets. This woman had killed a person without even batting an eyelid. It was way too horrifying. “Don’t kill as you please, Waltz. Keep these people around. I’ll put them to good use,” Maya said. “Maya, what use could you possibly make of a few Japanese?” Waltz asked. Maya looked at Koda. “This one is the director of Miki Consortium’s international marketing department. He’s also the fourth son of Miki Consortium’s president. With him in my hands, I’ll be able to do lots of things,” Maya said.

Maya felt herself being lifted off the ground, her body suspended in mid air. The Omni program's code surged through her mind, threatening to overwhelm her. Maya knew she was running out of time. And then, everything went black. When Maya came to, she found herself back in the virtual world, surrounded by the Omni program's code. She tried to struggle, but her body felt heavy and unresponsive. Victor's voice echoed in her mind. "You see, Maya," he said, "I've been preparing for this moment. And now, you're going to be the key to unlocking the Omni program's true potential."

The monitors flickered alive. Lines of code filled the screens, glowing in gold and red, intertwining like veins. Maya sat down, hands flying across the keyboard. Her eyes glimmered faintly again, syncing with the data. Adrian stood behind her, watching in awe. “You’re really doing it.” “Maybe,” she whispered. “If I can contain the Sovereign in a loop, I can erase—”

Micah's Pov (Days later) *I replayed Maya’s rejection in my dreams. She was livid with hurt and anger. She took one look at the calla lilies in my hand and turned her back on them. She turned her back on me. I could see her wolf yearning to return back to me, but her human form pushed her steps farther and farther away from me. Daniel appeared out of thin air. He was clutching a bunch of calla lilies, similar to the ones I had bought. Maya smiled at the sight of the flowers. She accepted it and gazed up at him adoringly. Like he hung the freaking moon.
