Gloss POV The moment the light consumed me, the world dissolved into static. For a brief second, I couldn’t tell whether I was alive or lost inside a dream stitched out of corrupted code. He grabbed Kassius by the ruined armor on his chest and violently ripped him out of the wall, tossing him onto the floor like a piece of trash. Kassius was broken. His arms were shattered, his core integrity was failing, and his highly advanced cyber-necrotic organs were sparking with toxic green static.
