Ambrose nodded, but his expression was still nothing but ashen. The next second, Ambrose looked at Cody as he said impatiently, "Come with me." As he spoke, he left the room. After all, it was Heather's room, and it was hardly appropriate for Cody to be here. Cody scrambled to get up, following behind Ambrose in terror. Just like Bryan could barely breathe when he discovered Cody's actual mother, "Does that mean you are Alpha Xander's son?" Cheyne stammered out the sentence. Cody didn't answer. He looked alternately at Cheyne and Bryan, who were very shocked. "Who is your father? Answer me, Cody!" Cheyne emphasized it again. "I don't know. Mommy said, I don't have a dad." Cody answered honestly, without worry or fear. Cheyne released a long, heavy breath. He turned away from Cody while Bryan continued to stare at the boy.

She then read the words again. “Hea…Heather?...” He brows creased. Out of the blue, a scene passed by her view, rendering her to flinch. It was her memory of the time she jumped down the building. She remembered it vividly when a guy called her Heather before everything went black. But, what is the correlation between Heather and her?
