Collision Course Book Novels & Stories

It was easier to think of ending one's life than actually doing so. Weston unconsciously rode towards Cody's house. It was a childhood habit of his that whenever he was upset, he would land up there and spend a few days with him to feel energized again. However, in his dazed and heartbroken state, he was too absent-minded to notice a speed-breaker on the road and lost control of his speeding motorcycle. Before he could realize what was happening, in a split second, the motorcycle crashed onto a wall nearby and he was flung off with force. The moment he hit the ground the motorcycle fell upon his legs with full force, crushing them. The excruciating pain on his legs made him lose consciousnes

I honestly don't know what I keep expecting from him but if this is what marriage is well I have to take what I'm offered besides I was just collateral damage. ‎

he called after me in a choked voice. But the wind was strong, and I didn't look back. What use was remorse now? In this world, some things remained beyond redemption. I then got into Cameron's car. As he started it, the loud rumble echoed through the air. "Let's go, Eva." As we drove off, I glanced in the rearview mirror. Jeffrey had already disappeared from view.

I snorted when they snapped off their glasses, their eyes widening when they realized that I wasn't one of their colleagues. “It's too late to be smart, boys,” I cackled, smashing the gas pedal down as hard as I could. My sedan collided with the road block, metal on metal screeching in an earsplitting sound, raising enough dust to make them temporarily blind for a millisecond. The momentum enabled me to blast past the two cars. Throwing a careless glance back, the vampires were gone. Out of sight. Vanished into thin air, perhaps. I didn't dare hope. It seemed highly unlikely that my small collision had successfully killed them.

However, regardless of how close they approached the fog, it was too heavy for them to see anything beyond it. /This isn't right. In the book, Hansuke died before we reached this point. Our journey has been too smooth. If what happened to Eiichi happened again... Something should happen soon./ Like she expected, that night when everyone was awake and gathered at the command table to discuss whether they should proceed into the fog or not, disaster struck. As soon as the alarms blared through hover ship to warn of an incoming collision, a loud bang rang out, and the entire hover ship shook dangerously.

It wasn't drifting; it was a guided missile aimed directly at my chair. The sugar dropped into the slush as Collins bolted. He was a blur of motion, screaming through the frozen air, "Ethan! Get out of the way!" The thunder of a high-caliber shot cracked the night, followed immediately by the shriek of shredded rubber. I felt the air leave my lungs as Collins collided with me, his arms locking around my neck, shielding my head with his own body. My ears rang from the proximity of the blast. The black sedan’s front tires had been vaporized. It swerved violently, obliterating the sugar stall Collins had stood at seconds before, before slamming into a stone pillar. I tightened my grip on Collin

“It was a hit and run accident. Nathan saw your car ; he stopped and looked to see if you were okay , but he found Alexis .She almost died on the table . Caleb is being briefed as we speak.” “Our baby…?” “ I can’t say. I don’t know. We are doing all we can." My whole world started to crumble around me . It felt as if the rug was pulled under my feet and someone just took a rifle and shot me straight through the heart. Dave; Mary, and Alexis are my life. Without them nothing makes sense. Everything started to go blurry and I needed to get out of the waiting room and run anywhere . Anywhere, but here… I ran to the lift and pressed the call button . As soon as it opened I pressed the top floor.

**** I had one class; Contemporary Art alone. Silvie had chosen Fashion Designing, so we always went our separate ways after Economics and regrouped at the cafeteria for lunch. Today's class had been awesome, but then which class wasn't for me? What can I say, I loved learning new things. Pretty weird, I know... but hey, no judging. I bumped into someone unexpectedly and watched in horror as my books tumbled to the ground. I bent down to pick them up, but whoever that was apparently had the same plans too.

Notifications flooded the screen so fast the numbers blurred. I opened the top one. It was a video. It showed me head down, my earbuds plugged in as I walked fast across the quad. Jace and his group were around the corner. My shoulder slammed into his chest then I stumbled, his hand instantly reached out and caught my arm to steady me. Someone had slowed that part down; made it look deliberate and intimate. The caption read: “Hockey captain meets his mystery girl #CollisionCouple” Comments poured in underneath.

My heart skipped a beat, and before I could get a word out, there was a loud crash. An electric scooter lay toppled over, and the old lady riding it was sprawled out on the ground. Chaos broke loose inside the car. "Carmen, what kind of driving is that?!" "Can you handle this? Maybe we should let Yvonne drive instead!" Everyone was talking over each other, blaming her, while Carmen turned ghostly pale, gripping the steering wheel as it shook. Patrick was freaking out, too. He quickly unbuckled Carmen's seatbelt. "Carmen, get to the back. Now!"
