For a moment, I lay there, disoriented, the nightmare still clinging to me like a bad memory.
I rolled over and looked at the clock. It was 7 AM. I had only slept for two hours. The exhaustion hit me again, making my body feel heavy. But there wasn’t time to think about it.
A loud knock on the door startled me. I sat up, wiping the sweat from my face as I swung my legs over the side of the bed.
"Come in," I called out, my voice rough.
The door opened, and Hermes walked in, followed by Apollo, who stayed in the doorway. Hermes’ face was calm, but I saw something in his eyes—maybe concern?—as he looked at me.
