I say tentatively as if that might entice her to come home with me. Her eyes narrow on me as she smirks in my direction. "I know what you're doing. So, don't think for a minute that you're slick. Even if I agree to come home for Christmas, it doesn't mean things are going to just go back to normal between us. I don't even know what normal is anymore." She sighs.

She looked at the screen, Benjamin's name showed up saying 'did you get home safe? “Yes, I got home safe. What about you?” Kathilyn replied back, and she waited for him to reply but no answer. She waited until her eyes felt heavy and fell asleep.

I have something I want to tell you. Wait for me to come back." With that, she turned and left. There was now less than half an hour remaining before I would have to return.

We miss you and we will love to have you back. Just come back, start afresh...leave all the bad memories back," She muttered, rubbing my arm softly. I blinked at her. Come back home? Leave New York? The city that fulfilled my dreams, the city that made me grow up into who I am...the city that gave me a friend like Kristen and the city that...that gave me Liam...leave all of these memories behind?
