BREAKING STORM
He sighed, and I shook my head,
“But I don´t want to leave…” I pouted, and he sighed,
“One more week…” he said, pressing his forehead to mine,
“One more week…” I repeated, closing the distance between him and me. I kissed him tenderly; I didn´t want to risk doing something that would strain his patience to the point of breaking the stupid rules my parents set when I was a kid.
I was thankful for those rules because they allowed me to have a protected childhood, my innocence and development taking their normal course. However, today, at 21 years old, I am way past my coming of age, and I have no idea why my parents set that age instead of 18.
