Alpha's Assassin

Alpha's Assassin

He holds out the computer, which I take with both hands and open up so the little screen lights up. “You mean kill me.” Gideon growls as I type in my password and wait for the multitude of programmes to open up. I have no control over the programmes; they’ve all been predownloaded and can only be used for work. I’ve heard people talk about our ancestors using computers to watch stupid videos and post about their everyday life. I wish I had that kind of easygoing life.

The Don’s Dangerous Addiction

The Don’s Dangerous Addiction

She blinked once, twice, and her vision cleared. She found the neurochemical data on the screen. The numbers were small, packed into a tight grid on the left side of the page. She ran her finger down the column, stopping at the third row. She paused, then shifted the values up by three percent. The screen blinked. For a second, the numbers turned red. Then they settled into the new values, black again, ordinary. Anyone scrolling past would see nothing wrong. At the bottom, she typed: *Subject suffered severe trauma. Core genes are breaking down under stress.*

"Take it." He didn't release the extinction code. He did something worse. He opened the library to the ship. A massive surge of genetic data—the roar of a thousand dead beasts and the sting of a million extinct insects—shot from Aradaa’s hands into the Aethelgard vessel. The ship shuddered. The biological tendrils began to writhe in agony as the sheer volume of data overwhelmed its living processors. "What are you doing?" the woman screamed, her amber eyes flickering.

There was the gene sequencing data with the data comparison made from the ideal healthy gene and then right below them were High lady’s genes sequences. The data was indeed intricate and quite vast. No wonder it took over a week and might even take several days to read and analyze this data. I think what made the accumulation and analysis of this data even difficult was the genes being magical in nature. Computers wouldn’t give accurate analysis because, right as I saw it, two gene sequences had already shown minor changes.

Like the previous books by this author, this book is also very interesting and different from what I have read. I look forward to each new chapter. I'm very picky about the books I read. Your books seem to be exactly for me. I hope there will be many more exciting and interesting stories.

I'm absolutely in love with this novel! It was my first read on this app and I truly adore it. The story is amazing, your writing is consistently mindblowing. While updates may be slow, I believe this novel absolutely worth the wait. Please take time you need; the results always speak for themselves

In the Director’s Office. “Come in.” The hospital director hurriedly opened the door himself. “Miss Q.” Briella nodded and sat down. “Director, is there something you need?” He poured her a glass of water and placed it gently by her hand. After a moment of hesitation, he got up, opened a cabinet, and revealed a hidden safe. He entered a code and took out a sleek black laptop. “Miss Q, our medical institute’s genetic database covers the entire Solandra. But over the past year, we’ve noticed an extremely abnormal phenomenon—mutations have begun appearing in the genetic data.”

She wanted no trace of its existence left. Years and eventually decades passed by while the family slowly worked on the data core's encryption. An entire generation of family heads retired their places to allow the younger generation to take the helm. The Ricklins eventually decoded the data core, but not through any exceptional effort on their part. They simply waited for the most appropriate cracking technology to advance. No encryption could ever last the test of time. When the Ricklins finally accessed the data core, they found out it possessed data on only one topic: genetic manipulation. And not the regular kind. No, it turned out the Rubarthans were not content with the human genome a

Because for the first time, someone was finally telling the story from the beginning. "They were building a genetic archive." Serena frowned. "A what?" "A database." Margaret chose her words carefully. "A very private database containing biological information from thousands of individuals." The explanation immediately bothered Damian. Not because it sounded impossible. Because it sounded plausible. Dangerously plausible. "Why?" Margaret laughed softly. The sound carried no humor. "Money." The answer came without hesitation. "Power." Her gaze hardened. "Control." She leaned back slightly. "The same reasons people do most terrible things."

Sweat dripping down his temples, Chatmory scrolled through pages and pages of dense, highly classified genomic data, frantically cross-referencing Ginny's abnormal blood markers with the Council's most secretive experimental profiles. He found the specific sequence file. Holding his breath, he hit 'Enter', overlaying Ginny's active lab results directly on top of the Council's theoretical data model. A cold, digital chime echoed in the room as the graphs aligned perfectly. All the blood rushed completely out of Chatmory's head, leaving him dizzy and sick. His initial diagnosis had been dead wrong. Fatally wrong. And Ginny's body wasn't fighting the foreign substance off at all.
