Contract marriage: I am the daughter of my husband's enemy

Contract marriage: I am the daughter of my husband's enemy

I slip through hospital records, the birth of every Virelli child’s database, and the archives until I come across a hidden file. Tucked away in the zipped file, looking harmless. I click on it, and it loads for a while before… [Heir; In the Mansion—] Then, it went blank. Not just the information. My entire computer. It just went off. Then the screen flickered green, black, blue, and basically every colour I knew before going blank again. A virus. A corrupted file. So, Lucien is right. She might still be alive, and they want to cover it up.

UNDRESSED BY THE MAFIA LORD

"Something that forces evacuation. We coordinate from outside. We trigger a system failure...fire suppression malfunction, structural compromise, chemical spill, something that requires immediate evacuation. In the chaos, you walk out with the rest of them." "What about the virus samples?" Dimitri asked. "The research data? We can't let that disappear into the wind."

using their collective nervous systems to host the virus. As Audrey touched the glass floor of the pool, the entire Western Trench lit up with a violet glare that could be seen from orbit. The virus didn't feel like code; it felt like a "Scream of History." A century of soot, blood, and steam was condensed into a single, blinding flash of data that surged through the glass sea and shot upward through the "Gravity-Anchors" toward the World-Ship. The Curators’ "Stasis-Beams" flickered and died. The museum was being "Contaminated" by the truth of the struggle.

iRobot: The New World

Research has proved it has genomic features with mix of known elements, and that it is a laboratory construct. The source of the outbreak in Hill Valley, USA was as a result of miscalculation by the E.G, also known as End Game, a terrorist organization. The containment system failed and the virus spread from workers to civilians on the streets. Vul Ruhl, head of the E.G has been imprisoned as of 15th September, 2028. The Endgame Chronicles

The Endgame Chronicles(The Apocalyptic Queen Theresa)(Supreme Survivor In The Zombie Apocalypse)

If it weren't for Hayley, he probably wouldn't have made it through the day. This mission was one of the highest-level operations under Base K1's triple S-class order. Liam had been sent to a pharmaceutical research facility to retrieve old data and lab instruments that might contain clues about the zombie virus, records that existed from before the outbreak. The goal was to uncover the secret of how the energy within the zombie crystal cores could be extracted. Before the outbreak, the government had already detected traces of this strange dormant virus in several regions. At first, they mistook it for a new strain of influenza. But when scientists ran experiments on lab mice, they discover

This is by far and beyond the best book I've read in a long time! It kept me so engaged that I had a lot of sleepless nights and I had to force myself to put it down. If it was in book form, I would buy it in a heartbeat! Thank you Hugh White for writing and publishing this book. it's the story of a

Worth the read, well written and has a decent plot. The characters generally have a lot of depth, although one or two have been a little strange, maybe written that way on purpose. The FMC sometimes feels a little too cold, and vengeful, but again part of her character... I will continue reading!

Now, it was trending. Raven slid into the booth beside Elise, a tablet tucked under her arm and a fresh scar just peeking from beneath her sleeve. "New data drop from the Czech node," she said. "They found backup shards of the Resurgence code nested in a VR fitness app. Can you believe that?" Elise grimaced. "Weaponized yoga. Perfect." Sophia leaned forward. "Are the shards live?" "Dormant," Raven replied. "Encrypted and fragmented. But it confirms what we suspected: there are still pieces out there. Maybe seeded unknowingly, maybe planted by true believers."

Sold to the Disfigured Billionaire

Harper walked over to her. Catherine took Harper’s hand. She traced the lines of her palm. "Arthur Sterling found the virus in 1985. In a drilling core in the Arctic. That's what the official records say, right?" "Yes," Sebastian nodded. "Ancient bacteria trapped in the permafrost." "Lies," Catherine shook her head. "The virus didn't come from the ice. It came from a Tomb." "The Sterling family... they are not inventors. They are Keepers."

V-A-N-E-S-S-A. Vanessa. That was Rage’s mother’s name. She dropped the knife, the clatter echoing in the quiet kitchen. She didn't call for Rage. Not yet. She grabbed her tablet from the counter and synced it to the detector’s internal frequency. She expected to find a Russo virus. What she found was a hidden partition in the island’s main server—a file that had been sitting there, dormant, for over twenty years. The file was titled: FOR THE THIRD GENERATION. As the data began to decrypt, a video file appeared. It wasn't Viktor Russo. It was a woman with dark hair and the same silver-gray eyes as Rage. She looked exhausted, her white lab coat stained with ink.

The Last Alpha’s Mate

The Last Alpha’s Mate

I covered my face, silently. “Oh, here she comes!” The doctors began to murmur. I rolled my eyes to the heavens. Back then at the facility, presentations like this were nothing. If these men thought they could intimidate me, they were fucking wrong. “The pathogen is called Hydravirus-9. It was discovered during a synthetic biology experiment. It mimics basic microbial DNA and alters cell hydration, forcing massive internal dehydration… while cells drown. “It spreads by water, through any unboiled or unfiltered liquid.” I took a breath. “It was neutralized years ago by my department. But if it’s resurfaced here, that means someone’s pulled a sample out of cold storage.”
