I wanted something to clear my doubts, something to prove to me that I was right about him, that he’d not left me voluntarily.
“Anyways, it’s not my story to tell,” he responded with his voice lowered like he was afraid of what he was going to say.
I was left intrigued to find the truth, or know what really happened because my own side of the story was one sided, it seemed deeper than a video itself, like it was something more.
Then the guards started whispering amongst themselves, there was a shuffle at the entrance. Like they were afraid of something.
There was a commotion outside of the room, all I could hear was there muffled conversation.
