Moon Touched
one Alpha asks.
Bob nods. “I had no choice.”
Katia moves to him, pressing her hand to his face, and something happens. Her hand glows faintly, and a silver crescent moon shines on Bob’s forehead when she pulls it away.
“You are moon-touched now,” she whispers.
Another Luna laughs softly, “A moon-touched vampire. How fitting.”
Vampire?
My eyes widen. I glance at Bob, how did I not see it before?
But then something darker coils in my gut when a tall wolf with silvery eyes speaks. “Something is calling to me from beyond the veil. It’s scared, in pain.”
