I said hopefully and almost stood up from my seat. The answer I was waiting for didn't come. Instead, Andreas disconnected the call between us. The buzzing of the connected calls was over and gone. "Andreas!" I called out his name, pulling my phone away from my ear and checking the screen, which showed the call between us had indeed ended.

"Sierra you can't live like this. The shared frequency will exhaust your energy. You will be a ghost inside that terminal forever." I said smoothly "Then we will be ghosts together brother." I reached across the navigation panel. Smashed the master transponder toggle. I permanently severed the short-wave satellite connection to Manhattan. Jonathans face vanished from the air in a puff of green light particles. It left nothing behind. The steady peaceful thumping of our ships nuclear engines. The silence returned to the white bridge. It was clean, heavy and absolute.

Aiden thought. "Alright," Aiden replied resignedly because he couldn't think clearly at the moment. "In that case, I'll end the call. Good night," Triyo bid farewell, and the call was disconnected. "Aiden," Gito called from a few steps away. "Yes, Pa?" Aiden asked.

" With a sarcastic tone, he asked. "Close my foot." I wouldn't dare. Just tell him I'm busy." He said and attempted to hang up, but Yeshen stopped him, saying, "Don't hang up, Jas." "You really need to be here." We have agreed. Safe journey." He bid, hanging up before he could say anything.

And a soft, feminine voice slipped through the static distorted, glitched, almost intimate:
