Maybe some of you readers already know me if you are also on Wattpad and Dreame but not leaving things on probablity, here's a small introduction of me. So I am Red (already mentioned) and I had been a writer for almost five years now on various platforms. I am an incurable romantic and live in my own fantasy world of K-dramas and books which is not very feasible in reality. So, I turn my imaginations and dreams maybe into my books that are gratefully loved by readers so far. I am basically a romance writer but I like to experiment as well so I hope in the upcoming days and years that I spend with my Goodnovel family here, we would get to share many interesting stories together!

What was your inspiration to write The Lady and the Scoundrel? I am a writer and full-time editor for many different projects, including a short story magazine. I wanted to write a contemporary romance inspired by my favorite romance novels as an exercise in discipline, to see if I could take on longer writing projects. There are several winks to what once was one of my favorite romance novels sprinkled throughout the story, so you can say it’s very loosely inspired by that one. I'm on W*****d under my new pseudonim: Kat James I've won prizes for my works on other websites and been offered to ghost write for a well-known, published books in hardback and softback, and so this might be my last novel on here and it's actually getting offers elsewhere so I might move over to another platform soon and finish this novel on there because I highly doubt they will let me have this or any other novel aside from Middle Land as "completed" because they would have to actually pay me.

You're exactly who I'm writing for. Writing romance — the steamy, unapologetic, adult kind — is genuinely the thing I love most. I love slow burns that make you yell at your screen. I love the moment two characters stop pretending they don't want each other. I love writing the tension right up until it snaps, and then writing what happens after. This genre gets dismissed a lot by people who've never actually read it, but I think it's some of the hardest, most emotionally honest writing there is, and I'm proud to spend my time here. I don't plan on going anywhere. This is home for me as a writer, and I intend to keep building worlds and couples and slow-burn chaos for as long as readers keep
