The Dawn To Come Novel Novels & Stories

A question struck my mind. ‘How did you find me?’ I asked him. He smirked. ‘I followed you,’ he said. I looked at him in surprise. ‘Follow me?’ I muttered those words as he increased the volume of the music. ................................... JULET’S POV Following a total stranger home, not knowing where he was taking me, we entered a grand estate named "The Damien's Estate." It was like another world, vast and magnificent. My mouth dropped open in awe; I couldn't remember the last time I'd seen something so impressive. As we drove, we passed under an arch of floricultures that provided shade.

Damian’s POV Dawn, when it finally came, was the kind that crept—not the dramatic sluice of gold you see in paintings, but the shy, reluctant light of winter. A nearly imperceptible shift: shadows thinning over hardwood, pale blue leaking across the city’s spires, as if the world, too, tiptoed for fear of disturbing her.

--- The Dawn When the world began to wake, people did not remember exact images — only feelings: serenity, weightlessness, the sensation of being known. Infants woke smiling. The sick stirred with strength. Even machines resumed with quieter hums, their systems self-correcting as though having learned rest. In Ottawa, Raven awoke on the floor beside Sophia, both bathed in faint light from the window. Snow fell softly outside, but it glowed now with a pale internal shimmer — like the Earth itself breathing. Sophia opened her eyes, irises still glowing faintly. “You felt it?” Raven nodded slowly. “Yeah. We were all there.”

A somber realization settled upon them, as they grasped the possibility that Dawn had sacrificed herself to save them both. In the midst of their sorrow, a soft luminescence enveloped Dawn's lifeless body. The room seemed to shimmer with ethereal energy, as if the very fabric of reality shifted before their eyes. A whisper of wind stirred, carrying with it a faint, distant melody. And then, in a breathtaking moment, Dawn's eyes fluttered open, a resplendent light dancing within them. Gasps of astonishment filled the air as Dawn rose, her body seemingly renewed, pulsating with an otherworldly vitality. She stood before them, transformed, her countenance radiating an ancient wisdom. Her voice,

Tessa POV The dawn came softly. No trumpet of war. No breaking storm. Just light. Pale and clean. Filtering through the canvas walls like gold dust. I stirred beneath the furs, half-waking before I opened my eyes, already aware of the warmth curled around me. Dorian’s body was wrapped against mine, one arm slung possessively across my waist, the other beneath my neck, fingers lazily brushing my collarbone as if even asleep he couldn’t let go.

Two days passed quickly. Xiao Chen's injury was almost completely recovered. He went out of the room and found out that the Falling-jade Glow was built in a valley. The ground was flat, and there were houses, chickens, dogs, farmlands, and canals. There were children, white-bearded old men, and countless men and women everywhere. This was a Utopia far away from the mundane life. These people looked like ordinary people, but they carried a faint demonic aura.

Chapter 60 As the sun falls into the horizon, the people, or should I say the werewolves, of the town of Dusk and Dawn starts to gather at our place. Tonight the alpha’s madness will end. Tonight, everything will be more normal and free. No more threats and darkness. Only good, light, and life.

I tried to bite the one on my left. He backhanded me across the face without even looking. My head snapped to the side, and stars exploded behind my eyes. For a moment, everything went grey. Then the world swam back into focus, and we were at the door. The guard pushed it open. Sunlight. So much sunlight, after days in the dark cellar. It blinded me, seared my eyes, made tears stream down my cheeks. I blinked desperately, trying to see, trying to orient myself. The courtyard was packed. Hundreds of wolves, maybe more. They lined the walls, filled the balconies, crowded every inch of space. And they were all staring at me.

Each point of contact a small fire that stayed lit long after his hand was gone. I walked away. Didn't look back. Dawn was six hours away. And somewhere in a cell at Shadow Peak, a pregnant woman was counting the minutes until someone came for her. I was coming.

It was her first smile. "Dawn." --- That night, I wrote in my journal. The shard is gone. The Eclipse is mortal. She chose a new name. Dawn. The followers are free. Some will come south. Others will not. The Circle is strong. Dax is holding me. The stars are rising. And Dawn is learning to live. Slowly. But surely. We will wait. As long as it takes. ---
