Under His Control
“Wherever I go, I always run into you, Mr. Alex.”
She stood up, stepping out from under the umbrella.
“And this is none of your business.”
Emma walked away.
But a black car stopped right in front of her. The rear door opened automatically.
“Get in,” Alex ordered curtly, without pleasantries.
“No.”
Emma turned away, intending to leave. She was sick of being controlled. Sick of being ordered around. Sick of being dragged into someone else’s life when her own life was already in ruins.
After only a few steps, suddenly her body lifted off the ground.
